I just took in one of our old cat... had since baby ... and now she needs a lot of attention ...least thats why I took her ... same with a foster dog I have ... they get along fine ...

but here is the thing ... I sleep with 4 blankets on my bed ...
all pretty heavy in some way ...
my cat loves to go all the way under them ... when bed time ...

she has done this ...even when I visited and slept with me before I had her full time ...

I would like to know ...
how the H**l they can breath under so many blankets ...

any thoughts ...

The cat would not keep doing it if it could not breathe :-)
They must not need as much oxygen as we do, especially
when sleeping.

How sweet the cat finds comfort and safety
there with you :-)

she will be fine mystical.
When I was little we had a jack Russell that did the same.
They will soon tell you if they are not.
How old is she? Sometimes when they are old or feeling under the weather they do get more needy!

I have four cats living with me, one of them sleeps on my pillow, another one under the blanket. I think, they want me to relax and fall asleep, before they go out for a walk

My baby will be 14 soon and I got her from a co-worker when she was only 5 weeks.
She only sleeps beside my feet when I fall asleep on my couch at times, with a blanket covering . She is my best buddy and part of my family!

She has her own couch, blanket, in a back room where she eats, drinks and poops. She does like to get under her cover some days too.

:cat2: cats are smart but strange..

My four are 15 and they move a lot slower, but do indeed, get more needy..so precious though eh?

Cats are definitely weird!

My last pair used to rob the fridge on a regular basis till l fitted a "adult-proof" lock - it took them a week of spying on me to work out how to open the lock in my absence! Adding a Velcro strap foxed them for 10 days till they worked that one out. I ended up having to prop a granite door stop which they couldn't shift and that finally stopped their midnight snacking!!!
