What's your take on this kind of relationship. It is very common in today's society, it's beginning to look like a full time job for some people

I know someone who had a sugar daddy..Rich older guy he knew he was a sugar daddy so she wasn't deceiving him.
But one day he just moved on to a different girl, and she was all butt hurt about it. I mean what was she expecting????
The word sugar daddy to me means you have a money to spoil younger girls for "companionship", and if I would have the money I wold probably do that too, but of course it wouldn't last long.

Sad that people pay for it. Even sadder that people want the money for it

I just think if both people are honest with each other, any of it can work... If one is in it for the money, just be upfront and tell them.. Same with love or sex..it might/probably won't get started, but that's still better than lying to people about what your after...

It is no different then prostitution. The trade of sexual services for money or gifts... don't care how you dice it.

I dunno. I suspect that the only thing that changes from one era to the next, is that people either start, or stop admitting what they are up to.

There have always been some men and women who married for money, or comfort, or entertainment, or prestige, or social advantage. It's so common, and people are so good at denial about their real motivations, especially to themselves, that it's hard to tell which marriage is, and which isn't really one of these.

I've seen people getting praised, because they chose a mate who they did NOT fall hard in love with, who they explained would be a better parent, because they could "provide well for the future children." If you are really honest, that's every bit the same as marrying for money to have a more direct good time for yourself.
