I didn't wanna talk bad about your scocialist dictator, but I can't stand that guy..he's the male version of Merkel, both are hiding something just like Obama and Hillary....

talk bad about him all you want, he is a disgrace, he is pathetic, weak a spoiled rich kid and son of a former closet marxist prime minister.

his father started us on the roads to ruin when he was Prime Minister and his loser son is following in his footsteps.

If this guys wins another majority in 2019, I might as well pack my bags and move, because by the time that azzhole is done with our country , it wont be called Canada anymore, it will be the "democratic people's republic of Canada"
I wonder why most all socialist run countries have Democratic in there name? Obama wanted to do it here, but he didn't finish before he left office..one of the reasons the socialist democrats were so butt hurt when trump won..I just could not stop laughing at the poor cupcakes..

I wonder why those 'socialist democrat' countries are so often in the top ten of the happiest places to live, and the healthiest populations.

Capitalism is a great thing. Making money in America isn't the problem. Overspending is the problem. Too much waste in our govt which leads to high tax.

Socialism is depressing.

capitalism: an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

in theory is amazing, in practice with fallible human beings cam become warped by tendency for greed and selfishness

socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

is also amazing in theory, but in practice with fallible human beings can become warped by tendency for ignorance and lacking education and laziness

neither system used in absolute form by humans is very uplifting

but bits and pieces of each seem to be key to good outcomes

Some people will always be poor, no matter how many opportunities they've been given. Our welfare system is out of control. It's causing the poor to live better than the m8ddle class.
Oprah did a study with a homeless man, giving him $100,000. Within a year he was broke again.
My ex sis in law is just as small minded. She was getting $10,000 a year in eic. She bought two 4-wheelers but didn't have a decent car. So what people saw was a struggling mom in need of a car. But it reality she just bought two new 4-wheeler. Something that would be a struggle for. Middle class

Able body people should work for their money to make living for themselves and their family members in need. The welfare is to help people in need, not who are lazy and living off taxpayers money.

Disabled and Veterans should be first in line for any and All. Benefits given out. Legitimate disabled people that is.

States are going done hill because of tring to support many people, including. Illegal s.

I agree. April has lived a middle class life on welfare, while I've lived a poor life on a middle class income. People are being over taxed to cover all the benefits the "poor" receive. She has been on multiple cruises. Eic is good in theory. But most of its recipients don't use it to better themselves. That's where the phrase hood rich came from. They live like rich people till all the money is gone then they have their hand out wanting more.
I'm surprised that will all the reality tv, that n9body has done a show to let people know how they really live.

you have it backwards , there a difference between democrat countries that has democrat socialists governments with mixed economies vs Marxist-Leninist countries with the fancy titles of People's republic of and central planning.

What is north Korea called? the democratic peoples republic of North Korea.

What is China called, the Peoples republic of china

What is Laos called? Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

compared to Scandinavian countries , notice they are all officially called " the Kingdom of (insert name)

Would rather live in the Kingdom of ( insert name) or the Republic of North Korea, Laos, Cuba,China or Ethiopia?

except that Capitalism falls in two categories, Laissez fare and cronyism, Cronyism(which is dangerous) is the dominant category and we see today and what America was born in.

socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

And to some that means the working class to be in charge, I agree human beings are fallible , but the problem with socialism isn't the system its the people in charge of the system implementing central planning, collectivism and bureaucrats to run things.

All theories sounds great, but there is reality.
all economic systems are hybrids, there has never been a pure economic system.

While you think or believe that a mixture of all system is good, the reality is its not.

Capitalism promotes freedom and individualism, equality under the law but not equality of outcome.

Socialism promotes collectivism and doesn't understand humans beings are not equal or have equal ability and wants to correct those imbalances, good in theory bad in reality .

Im not sure where you live. but the only true statement here is that SOME people will always be poor.

one, because you cant have 'rich' without 'poor'.

two, because the economy is set up for some to be 'poor'.

three, because some people do not have resources OR connections to raise up out of poverty that they are BORN into.

four, because some are happy to be 'poor' rather than deal with people and social expectations

but in any case, the 'poor' overwhelmingly do not live 'better than' the middle class, having no food or safe shelter for your kids or decent healthcare does not make one better off, no matter how many 4 wheelers they waste their few resources on.

I would love for you to research some of the blanket beliefs you seem to have.

From investopedia:

Taxes for average single/no kids
The United States comes in at 25.6% in this category, giving it the 16th highest tax rate. The countries with the lowest all-in average personal income tax rates on single people with no children are Chile (7.0%), Mexico (10.3%) and Korea (13.8%).

safety net programs often referred to as 'welfare' are only about ten percent of the budget (where taxes go)

and welfare is not meant to 'better' anyone, only to get them through rough patches, how is 300 dollars a month going to help any one with a kid 'better' themselves?

in America, welfare or not, whatever class one is BORN to tends to be the class they remain in ...

I think you miss the point that the 4-wheeler money could have been spent on housing, food, etc. On Facebook I saw a young mother post that she had paid her rent for the year with her tax return. It gave her security. Most aren't that smart. The hard facts are some mothers put things like 4-wheeler, cruize, salon appointment, etc, above seeing that their kids are taken care of. The govt should do a study to show where the majority of the eic is going. From my understanding the eic is being cut anyway.

the fact that socialism and capitalism BOTH have flaws is WHY I believe what works best is to take bits of both that work well

You are wrong Miss harmony

if you look back people move in and out of the 1% , people move in and out of the Upper middle class, people move in and out of the working class and people move in and out of poverty.

there are many who have moved out of poverty and yes there are inter-generation of poor people.

here is the reality there will always be poor people, why? because there are some people who will never flourish because its not in their DNA, poverty is the default nature of mankind.

Its just some of us doesn't have a desire to be poor.

I didnt miss the point. so you know somoene who made poor choices with the budget they had, thats not exclusive to any class of people, welfare or not.

but that also is no excuse for people to be left with NO budget to work with at all, especially when children are involved, which is the PRIMARY recipients of those programs.

I dont think government should 'waste taxpayer money' trying to figure out what individual recipients do with their assistance. They should be permitted to budget it at their discretion like anyone else. I dont want government telling anyone what they can or cannot purchase, unless its for security.

and again, Im not referencing the OUTLIERS, I am speaking on the TRENDS...

the TREND is that people remain in the classes they are born to for MOST of their lives, even if they have odd moments where they move between, they pretty much end up where they start in terms of socioeconomic class in the USA.

because they have no desire , ambition or skill set to get out of poverty.

We are not equals, we have equality under the law its up to us to pursuit financial goals.

And that is a problem to some, while you may call it an outlier reality is not everyone has the same ambition , work ethic, skill, desire to better themselves to get out of poverty.

Government cant fix that, and socialist cant fix that although they try.

yes, all the poor stay poor MERELY becuase of limited desire and ambition to get 'out' of poverty. geography, economic opportunities, social environmental conditions, and educational equality couldnt possibly be factors, merely their INFERIOR character.

you're so right.
