Nobody wants to work with a trouble maker and he did cost them millions. I would say that is a legit reason for not working with him. It's time for him to move on and realize, he threw his career away. He needs to stop focusing on the past and focus on the future. Before he runs out of money. Maybe he could join the military.

except for several things.
1. there is no direct evidence that HE cost them 'millions'. there are a combination of factors that go into profits and revenue and it could just as easily be claimed that the reaction of Trump cost them 'millions'.

2. not everyone has the same definition of 'trouble maker'. Someone one person sees as making 'trouble', another may see as making 'a stand'. Kind of like MAGA slogan is based on people believing that the 'trouble' Trump makes is actually progressive.

3. moving on is exactly what anyone truly concerned with making a difference should NOT do, it makes their sacrifices meaningless if they dont see it through as far as they can.

4. It is also not a given he will 'run out of money'. I believe he stands to make plenty if he sticks to his lawsuit and if his intent to give back to the voiceless is genuine. Many times when we give we get back ten fold. he is giving ALOT to stand for people that were voiceless. He could join with many others who are interested in doing the same and see him as someone that will help MAGA on the terms THEY believe in.

he got cut cause he was a mediocre QB at best, and got beat out of his job. So he doesn't automatically get a starting position. Maybe if he was a very good QB then it might be worth putting up with his spoiled antics but not so with a over hyped player.

Over the course of the season, 10 quarterbacks were worse than Kaepernick, 7 were about the same (plus or minus 0.35 ANY/A) and 15 were better.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/sports/kaepernick-tracker/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.5ee003b46b94

... so maybe not such a CLEAR CUT excuse, huh?
stats don't mean everything, you got to have team cohesion , and the savvy to read a defense and change your play at a moments notice. There have been good QBs that never make it to the big game.

great. so maybe not such a CLEAR CUT excuse.

It was that Trump won. Clinton lost to Obama without the same effects, disbelief, or protest.

I don't see those " he not our President" protests anymore.. no one threatening to leave the country either

Just a few on the web who were so shocked.. so devastated that they have no other goal in life but to constantly attack the man regardless of what he does.

But just a very few still left as most others have... a life.

I know, I feel sad for those who can only constantly condemn another person, as opposed to critiquing them honestly.

Its Friday, don't be so hard on yourself :)

thanks for your concern. But I feel pretty good about my use of logic over emotionalism and hatred.

i think that trump got elected on the 'everybody loves to watch a train wreck' platform.

everybody was tired of the way that things were being run,and knew that our government would be a clusterf**k,no matter who won,so they voted for trump because they thought that he would be the most entertaining to watch.

and,he has not disappointed them, has he?

You've got a point. If only the media would give it a rest, condense Trump's performances and broadcast them, say, once or twice a week. He has a free stage to show off like a little boy, scream for attention like a megalomaniac, demand and get publicity like a narcissist and the media hands it over. The rest-of-us might be more interested in some real news and some peace from a man who strikes me as just plain, garden variety, repulsive.

The media wont give it a rest because they are only interested in what sells, the more people watch them, the more advertisers jump on board.

Think about this, if people were truly sick of Trump they would boycott the news stations reporting on him every minute, advertisers would pull out like crazy.

but they dont because Trump is a master of publicity, anyone that read his book "art of the deal" knows this, one of his strategies " controversy may sell"

The more controversial you are the more your opponent is on their guard and ready to make a mistake and you pounce all over them like a Fat kid at McDonald's eating a big mac.

Trump isn't stupid he's playing the media like the suckers they are, they will keep reporting and digging up dirt on the guy as he is laughing behind his secret service and when he is re elected in 2020, who will the media and Democrats blame?

you know who they will blame... It's those gun toting white supremacists, or the race trading uncle toms, or the uneducated people that live in the part between east coast and west coast. They will blame everything except their unethical extremism .

Trump and the news media are akin to The Emperor and the little boy in the Emperors new clothes. In the story, the wealthy Emperor is keen on wearing the finest clothes, but one day the tailors decide to swindle the Emperor. they tell him that the material they use would be so fine that only those fit for office could see it. So the tailors play to the Kings Ego pretending to fit him and telling him how amazing he looks, Even when the Emperor is completely nude. Not wanting to let on he doesnt see anything, the Emperor insists he also sees the clothing. Word gets around about how unique this fabric is and the Emperor sets off butt naked through the town. And his followers are so keen on being on board with him even if their eyes tell them otherwise, all that counts is the Emperor's claim of how exquisite his clothes are. Finally a child states the obvious that the Emperor is actually nude.

Trump is like that puffed up Emperor.

The media are like that sole voice of the child yelling that he has no clothes on. difference is, in the real story, the townspeople still refuse to accept it.

except that Trump doesn't have a power like a dictator, he may wish he did but he doesn't, Congress has the real power.

Obama found out the hard way, Trump will find out like other presidents have found during their terms.

They will tell you. Haven't you ever worked with a Mexican or had them work putting a roof on your house? Do you know anybody who owns rental property? Haven't you ever stopped at a gas station and a group of them come up asking you for work? Have you ever been somewhere and seen a group of 20 get out of a car? Like I said some of us live in the real world.
I saw 10 clowns get out of a Yugo, once. It was hilarious .

Have you ever researched the points you have stated? Watch Trumps interview with Donahue or other interviews he has had over the years. President Trump tells things like it is. It is not sugar coated or ran through the political sifter like the way politicians do. He is honest. For one I prefer to think for myself. Too many people these days are being told what to think. The simple fact is the things he has said about trade, China, Nato not paying for their defense and many other points are the same now as they were 30 years ago. Maybe the man means it when he say he wants all Americans to have a better life. But then again, it is easier to be told what to think!

so many good points and oversimplified points.

yes, I do research. I believe it is the rare individual who opens their mouth and doesn't believe they are just 'telling it like it is" I don't find that to be particularly a selling point because I believe many people who 'tell it like it is', are really only telling it as they PERCEIVE it, and I think many people have truly Jacked up senses of reality in what they perceive. I think honest is too far a simplification to describe the man, because I think he is a pure salesman who really doesn't care so much about TRUTH, as he does as selling his idea with whatever words work.

I also prefer to think for myself which is why I research as well, which is why I think he is mostly ignorant and disconnected with reality, instead of Evil like others may claim him to be. I believe it would be a statistical anomaly considering all the flip flopping and disparate sides he takes and claims he makes that he not be right sometimes. If I say the sky is blue and the sky is not blue, one of those is bound to be right.

I dont think he means(to be read 'has a solid stand on') most of what he says or really has an interest one way or the other about All americans, at least nothing prior to his POTUS run, in 70 years worth of life, indicates that he does. And I think even if I gave him the benefit of the doubt, him WANTING and him knowing how are at odds. Just like me sitting in a hospital WANTING to save lives does nothing if I have not skills or experience or know how to make it happen.

but yes, it is easier for far too many to let Trump tell them what to think, or other 'sources'tell them what to think. Far too many memorize the spin and dont check the details across real life experiences AND sources and documented data.

Tell me is perception based on what a person has learned over the years of their lives or is it based on a bias they have developed over their lives? Also can you explain how someone takes $200,000 and turns it into over a billion in New York City, of all places, is as ignorant as "you" seem to think he is. Thing is some people can not be persuaded that anything they have been led to believe can be wrong. I for one have better things to do than waste my time attempting to change their preconceived concepts.

don't get me wrong here, I like trump and feel he's the best choice to help our country out, but back in the 80's, time magazine did an article about him being the meanest and nastiest boss in the U.S.... I'm so surprised the libs never brought the article up....

talk bad about him all you want, he is a disgrace, he is pathetic, weak a spoiled rich kid and son of a former closet marxist prime minister.

his father started us on the roads to ruin when he was Prime Minister and his loser son is following in his footsteps.

If this guys wins another majority in 2019, I might as well pack my bags and move, because by the time that azzhole is done with our country , it wont be called Canada anymore, it will be the "democratic people's republic of Canada"

I wonder why most all socialist run countries have Democratic in there name? Obama wanted to do it here, but he didn't finish before he left office..one of the reasons the socialist democrats were so butt hurt when trump won..I just could not stop laughing at the poor cupcakes..
