We have laws also. When the police officer goes in front of a jury. At least one juror will have had problems with a thug who broke into their home or car or car jacked them or shot up their neighborhood. They will side with the police officer. This is why decent parents better be teaching their kids to obey laws instead of running after committing a crime. Protesting only got the idiots arrested.

so a girl gets run over by a car,, and so what, she was probably on food stamps

and a boy gets shot in the back, and so what, he had done something illegal anyway

and protesting (a constitutional right) is 'stupid'

these threads are making me truly concerned about the direction of our 'culture' these days

The comedian Chris Rock addressed that very issue in his most recent show.

He said: "The police need to start shooting an equal number of white teenagers just to balance the books." The line actually got a standing ovation.

There are people here, that will continue to remain clueless, until their child is laying on slab.

They tend to get a wake-up call, when they're personally affected.

those types of people dont believe it could ever be them or theirs in that situation ...

and if it was, I dont think many of them would be any less dismissive even then

you democrats huh ... if it wasnt for group think, people wouldnt think at all would they?

I hope one day someone doesnt assume you are the 'scum' or the 'thug'

but of course you are much older and wiser than the typical underserved TEENAGER.

first thing is Teenagers think they know everything and sometimes they have to be taught a lesson.

Im sure a lot people think Im scum or a thug because Im black, and to that I dont care, Im not concerned about what they believe or think vs their actions .

Common sense dictates if a policeman/woman stops me
1) I dont give them attitude

2) I expect them to be cautious

3) I obey their command, if they say get out of the car, I get out of the car, if they ask for my license, insurance and ownership I give it to them without attitude.

the faster they see I have nothing to hide the faster Im on my way .

Its not that hard to grasp.

Let's be honest. A lot of these welfare mom are fine with their teenage sons stealing and selling drugs. It's another source of income that doesn't involve getting a job. That's why they protest the police instead of raising law abiding citizens

Not all deserve to be treated like that.
Just remember, some of those in ghost town's with no jobs were created by greedy people moving there production lines to Mexico, China Africa where they use slave labour which you benefit from!
Just look around your kitchen and house.

My dad died when I was 11. I've started working at 15. There is a difference between being poor and being trash. Lord help you if you don't know the difference. Go to McDonald's and you will see poor people working there. Look around the street corners in the ghetto and you will see trash selling drugs who think working at McDonald's is beneath them.

smh

most ironic statement : There is a difference between being poor and being trash?

would that difference be in attitude about oneself or about others?

Why insult people working at Mc donolds?
There are thousands of rich people employing people on the same pay scale!
And those people selling drugs are the bottom of the run, they are selling them for rich people!

And those who think it's ok to smoke weed or whatever you want to call it are all contributing to it!
Go to any of the big money companies in any city around the world and they'll be using cocaine!

So you are saying it's ok to sell drugs because someone got rich doing it?

I wasn't insulting people who work at McDonald's. I worked for a local fast food restaurant as a teenager. It gave me money for clothes, prom gown, class ring, etc. I was poor and instead of selling drugs and shooting people, I got a legal job. I've never had the police shoot at me. When I see blue lights, I pull over.

No, you're not worried that he'll be shot by a white cop.

Black police officers carry guns too.

Or didn't you know that?

Go to Mc donolds and see the poor people is basically what you said!
Maybe kids from better off families get there kids to start on the ethics of work at Mc donolds, after all its the same ethics just a different pay grade!

You just don't want to admit that thug wasn't killed because he was black.

We go to church with the sheriff here. In the fall the youth puts on a play to raise money for super wow. The sheriff brings police cars and the funeral home donates a casket for the play. We teach our kids right from wrong here. We aren't out protesting because the police did their job.

Here the better off families put their kids working for their own business. My son has a friend who works at a car lot owned by dad. Ive had my son collect rent, cut grass at rental property, sheetrock etc. Because he saves me more than he could make at McDonald's. My ex worked for his parents cleaning feeders, cutting hay.

You just don't want to admit your child is as much at risk as anyone else's.

White chick police officers carry guns too. Sometimes, they're even worse.

Jury acquits Hummelstown police officer Lisa Mearkle of all charges

A Dauphin County jury has acquitted Hummelstown police Officer Lisa Mearkle of all charges.

The jury began deliberating Wednesday afternoon before delivering its decision Thursday afternoon following the two-day trial.

Mearkle, 37, shot and killed 59-year-old David Kassick in February after he fled from her attempt to stop him for an expired auto inspection sticker. The fatal encounter occurred in back of the South Hanover Township home of Kassick's sister.

Mearkle shot Kassick twice in the back after shocking him repeatedly with her Taser.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Johnny Baer argued that Mearkle wasn't justified in shooting the unarmed Kassick.

Defense attorney Brian Perry countered that Mearkle shot Kassick because be was reaching into his jacket and she believed he had a weapon. Mearkle testified Wednesday that she believed her life was in danger. She also claimed the filing of criminal charges against her by the DA's office was politically motivated.

Cops shooting people in the back seems to be trending.. Perhaps they're too afraid to face the people they kill and do it face-to-face at high noon like Wyatt Earp used to.

Well, probably in the grotty run down flat owned by a greedy landlord they live in doesn't have any hay to be cut, or maybe they are just the wrong colour!

The only tenant I have with a son old enough to work, works at At&t. She is an office manager and her husband drives a truck. It isn't hard to find work for those who are looking. Make all the excuses you want for that thug.

And I can post as many stories of policeman and women who do wonderful things in the community, how many lives they have saved etc.

most of them dont get national attention because the main street media doesn't want report it because well its not sensational.

It sexier to print cops that shoot thugs vs most cops that do good things, think about what sells on a front page, A cop shooting a runaway thug involved in a shooting earlier or a cop that rescues a home owner kept hostage by a gun toting thug.

I wish I could find this picture of a black teenager who I think was giving out water at a protest or selling water getting hugged by a police officer it was truly a wonderful sight to see.

If anyone remembers that and can find it let me know.

This week we had a policeman give a man money who was stranded on the side of the road. He also took him for gas and a can to get his car running again.
