just saw the newest spider man which was animated ... cool... they where trying to stop a bad guy and his machine ... I told my nephew we had a machine like that and I never really trusted it ... so all I did was scare him and family tried to debunk it... made me feel bad that I said that ... I seem to lately be telling the truth about some things and all I am really doing is scaring those I love ... so the way I said to handle scary movies... is to figure out how they did that ... what made you be scared ... then I said I heard once u watch a scary movie at night... always end with a comedy...

Saw & Exorcist at the top of my list
Shining, because it's JACK
Jeepers Creepers good up until last 10 minutes...think they ran out of money & just slapped an ending on.
Even like the old 50's & 60's classics & not so classic:
Invasion of the body snatchers
Night of the Living Dead
The Thing
There was the one alien hit by the car & it's hand keeps attacking with alcoholic fingernails.
Even the worst of all time: Plan 9 from Outer Space. So bad it's funny esp. the replacement after Bela Lugosi's death doesn't look a thing like him.rofl

I've watched all these films, except The Vatican Tapes, missed it. I love horror, current or classic. Robert Mitcham in Night of the Hunter is still an all time favorite. Pet Cemetery, the original was good. Recent films include: Get Out, Good Night Mommy, Train to Busan and May the Devil Take You.

I actually write horror movie plots, hoping to sell them to a famous horror movie director or producer. Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions (Get Out) recently liked one of my tweets with some poster ideas for the movie ideas I had conceived. :)

“The Shining”

Gotta love Jack Nicholson in that one.

“ Wendy, you didn’t let me finish. I was just going to say I’m not gonna hurt ya, I’m just going to bash your f***ing brains in! “

I'm more a fan of science fiction that horror but I do have quite a lot of Vincent Price and Peter Cushing films. More modern horror; The Thing (Kurt Russell), Dog Soldiers, the Resident Evil films, Dusk till Dawn, but my favourites have got to be the Evil Dead films and series with Bruce Campbell. The series in particular is incredibly gory but is full of dark humour.

The Collected (20??) is rumored to be the 3rd film in the franchise.

The Hills Have Eyes (1977), (2006) doesn't matter.
These films are brutal. Think mountain dwelling inbred mutant rednecks on a tourist killing spree.

Think Pet Semetary in a scientific lab.
Watch in a dark room for best effect.

The spoken English language causes people to become murderously crazed.

Troll Hunter (2010) dubb o jespersen
Trolls DO EXIST!

Event Horizon (1997) ~ bluray s neill
A new FTL drive sends a ship to Hell and back.
Problem is, Hell came back with it.

That little thing is brutal.
Warning: disgusting gore

Global warming releases a predator insect species

Graphic gunshot gore

Along Came the Devil 2 (2019) b davison
Religious possession and demonology movie

Little Monsters (2019) l nyongo
Pleasant Aussie flick about a teacher protecting her kindergarten class from a zombie outbreak while visiting a local farm animal park.
Warning for foul language. I liked this movie.

Rabid (2019)
Side effects of an experimental medical treatment and its contagious.

Scary Stories Tell the Dark (2019) ~ bluray l collins
