I’m curious. On her profile what does she say she is looking for? Perhaps there are mixed messages there too.

Also a good connection online doesn’t necessarily mean that will translate to real life.

To be blunt here stop thinking with the small brain and think with the one in your head. Yea you got played last night. Don’t set yourself up to be played again... and again... and again

do you think there's still a chance?

Move on.

Hilarious. Dude you said you got drunk so she was over emotional on the first date. She sobered up and decided you were not the guy for her. At first she tried to be nice by wanting to be just friends. Then you push her because you got a kiss when she was drunk. SHE should run as fast as she can the opposite direction. You would be a control freak I think. Get over it man and move on.

oh for Pete's sake scared

Just ask her out. Fresh start.

Don't mention anything you've texted. No questions about the "not yet relationship" future. Way too early to start that.

Enjoy yourself until you don't. smile2

Women say that because they want to get to know you. The best relationships starts AS BEING FRIENDS, allowing love to grow organically, NOT TRYING to put the relationship in a box with definitions.

I was doing that yesterday. 'wanna get dinner this weekend?'

She has to check her schedule of course ...

Sounds like too much drinking involved on that date.

what kind of friendzone is this?

Doesn't matter.
Is that where you want to be?

what is going on here?

Based on my experience with online dating it reads like two people that sat online talking way too long before meeting, and spend way too much time texting.

what do you guys think?

I think you should work/focus on actions rather than talking.
Go on another "date." Then another. Until she stops accepting them.
Do you honestly have something better to do?
If so, do that.

If you get another date with her. Do your very best to put her in the friend zone. Remove the pressure of a "DATE" just enjoy each others company and listen to her words, watch her actions, and stand back after the date and look at things objectively.

The best relationships start as friends. Be her friend put your hormones in check and really listen, watch and learn.

Remember friends first, Love SECOND.

she did say 'lets mee again' multiple times. im telling her landmarks and she was like 'take me there' and such.

yes the flirt was verrry strong- stronger than my 2 previous ex's on our first night. that's why i thought it was a sure thing.

my exact texts were -

lets meet again. i truly like you. i wont screw this up.

her response-

i'd like to see you again but i have to be honest with you i have too much to work through before giving anyone my heart

me-

i can help you work on that

her-

it's like the last relationship took something from me... (ect, ect)

me-

i wanna give you my best. i hope you give me a chance

her-

im not ready to give anyone my heart atm

me-

so it's a no...
give it a chance please (ect. ect.)

and thats when she responded with the dreaded F word-

i can be your friend but i dont want to give you an idea its more than that.

regardless of your perception of her behaviour on the date .. ... be a man!!!!

either respect her wishes and continue as a friend or walk away .. she has made it very clear .

Hindsight is wonderful .. for what ever reason she does not want a sexual relationship with you ..likely she was not having her period either  waving
