When I was 18 I had a lady of 32 it seemed a big difference, when I was 40 I had one of 52 which didn’t seem much of a gap, as long as it is what you both want it is fine

You hit the right point. At younger age levels, long age differences do stand a chance of being uncomfortable. But once both partners are above 30....certain levels of maturity and stabilities are acheived by them and hence forth it becomes a matter of choice or understanding. Here age difference has a diminishing significance.

My dad is 8,5 years younger than my mom. So what? Is that dog years or something???? Nope My Dad was 22, my Mom 30, when they got married, which was unusual back in those days. But they will have their 50th anniversary next January, that's why such an age gap is irrelevant.

biological age is a good indicator of life experience, but not always a definite indicator of life compatibility. Some younger folks have lived the experience and responsibility of those much older and some older folks have not yet surpassed the experience and responsibility of those much younger compatibility cannot be determined ONLY by an age .... so why not date whatever person is compatible, regardless of age? (with the exception of following the law)
