It really saddens me.Those of you who follow soccer might have heard of it. This last few weeks there has been racial tweets on various players. For what? For doing their jobs and entertaining us? The latest bunch of all was a couple of days ago in ITALY! A group of supporters were monkey-chanting an opponent player before and after taking a penalty kick. The funny thing is that the club for which the player is playing said it is not meant as a racist chanting. Shameful
Its not only soccer. Its everywhere. When I hear international news, I hear this issue on a daily basis like Dorian (God help all the people)
I still couldnt fathom we are still talking about it on this century and 2019.
Please lets all do our bit in eradicating it

First of all, consider your source.
Ever look at a youtube live steam during a disaster?
Its appalling!

Take comfort in understanding that its how YOU treat others in YOUR daily life that makes a difference to those you come into contact with.

There are always going to be haters.
There are always going to be individuals that can't accept others.

The only one you ever have control over is you, lead by example.
It MUST start at the personal level.
Get yourself right and give example to those around yo.

Personally, I grew up with racism.
I decided NOT to continue that which I was taught.
Because, it wasn't right the way I see it.

I couldn't change my parent's views but I could change mine and teach my children a NEW way to look at it.
As a result, my children are not prone to racism, they find it appalling.

Its not about changing other, Its about teaching a better, respectful view to those you come in contact with.
Just remember, each person has their own views for their own reasons.

All I have control over is myself and how I treat others.
You can teach.
You can preach.
You can lead by example.
Its up to the individual as to whether they heed your advice.
Try to accept everyone as they are, its the right thing to do.
If they want to be racist, they will, whether you say something or not.
But sometimes, What you say and do, makes sense to others.

People judge others no matter of color, looks or social status. Alot of stupidity out there. Got to live life your way. If you keep wondering about how others feel about you, you will not grow as a person. Keep your head up and be proud.

In the UK there are many black players. They are the best thing in the world until they don't score then the abuse starts lol
My best estimate of when racism will end is either when there is a nuclear war or earth gets hit by a giant asteroid and Bruce Willis is having a day off! In a nutshell. It will end when the human race is obliterated!

Heard about the incident in Italy. Not sure what is worse. The fact, that it still happens? Or the fact, that so called supporters play it down and find lame excuses noway

I agree Tom4uHere. It MUST start at a personal here. If I judge people based on colour, race, gender, age,...... then I am not a human being. What i dont agree is that you said to focus on self.
Ppl can change(not all, of course). You even said it. You educate your kids, and ur kids will do the same. The trend continues.
I like the comment 'If a nuclear war or asteroid happens'. It tells us the extent it has gotten into.
Of course there will be some haters. But thats life. As there are people that love, there are also who hate. Thats reality, I think

The world is more free than ever. People can do more now than ever before. Yet we have people lamenting others all day long. Clean your own house. That's what you can control. In America, people are so sick that they point the fingers at others, yelling "racist" just because they themselves are so full of hate. Racism isn't even required, it is just the excuse the people use to spread hatred.

Ignorant people will be ignorant. Don't spread ignorance and you are doing your part.

I agree that people can change, and that it also must start at a personal level.

Racism is a sad thing... Unfortunately there are still those out there that feel threatened by anything appearing different than them, to the point of hatred. It's heartbreaking.

I believe though that even the most closed minded individual is capable of having their mind opened and feeling compassion for all of humanity.

What's going on right now with Hurricane Dorian is a clear example of how humanity is changing, setting aside differences to lend a helping hand to their fellow human being. It's beautiful to see and a huge change from how things were a few decades ago. It's slightly off topic, but also relates because if people can change and let go of hate during moments of catastrophe, there is a chance they can do that in every day life as well.

I think booze has a lot to do with it. The effect of alcohol has been well documented. In a nutshell it knocks out the latest developed facalties first and works backwards. Reasoning moral sense, then restraint/impulse control, speech, coordination and finally bladder and bowel control.
Stick a bunch of people together in various states of the spectrum and add some excitement ie a football game. What you will get is a lot of thoughtless ignorance.

In short I think that booze aggravates it. I've seen it happen many times. Otherwise good people, sozzled and going on about how its all the ( insert any race here )fault.

will it ever end? It's another symptom of ignorance. And wrong from start to finish.
And you cant wronger than that.

I dont see it as being off topic since its about us people.
Speaking of Dorian, i heard on the news a guy from US (forgot the city) bought 10 generators to be sent to Bahamas. If thats not positivity,generosity.... i dont know what is

Yes, there are a lot of individuals and organizations reaching out to help those in need. I remember years ago when disasters occurred there was more news about people breaking into closed buildings, vandalism, and rioting... That's not happening now. People are helping, praying, and feeling compassion for those suffering. That is a beautiful thing... And that is the kind of energy that will help heal and dissolve the hate that still lingers in a few misguided souls.

Depends on the hate... people have prejudices which are fine... it's when you cross that line and take it out on others no matter how far you've been pushed by the other side... I have more problems among my fellow whites but have my own agendas... you sure as hell ain't going to catch me at a hate rally or even fronting a confederate flag no matter my state and that to me is just someone's valued beliefs not a hate anthem but heritage... If you ever want to end violence... It always starts with... you... you don't look away you don't try to reason with the mad man... you look right in the face of danger and help anyone in need... a bully is not a bully... he was brought up that way to be taught to hate himself ironically cause other kids even teachers... to stop hate you have to start at the source hug that person and yes it's pretty much almost that simple you may feel like hitting them spitting in their face but when they go postal you wish you had given that chance instead of wasting his life cause he had no choice... guns don't kill people... you put the bullets in the enemies hands... that's the topic of a book i'm working on "chamber locked: You put the gun in their hands...."

Chamber Locked: You put the gun in the enemies hands

Chapter One: What makes an enemy
Bullies are not bullies. They commited one bad deed because they were taught how to. They followed this pattern in life and soon they were known to be a bad seed. They are not. They are simply misguided that lead them down this path to be an individual but a target. They were not accepted and they begin torturing others the cycle never stops and needs to. Some of our greatest teachers punished such kids for thier behavior doing the best they could... And made them the enemy of everyone.

We do not simply believe in violence it is forced upon us by choices in our lives. We choose to do certain acts, each of us taking note of life and the things that the other has. Jealousy... A king leads an army to wipe out a kingdom for what it has. This tyrant, started off defending what was his and when he beat that enemy got power into his heart. It made him an enemy defending his country...

What do we do about it? The whole world's a mess, and no one wants to sweep up the floors of everything happening to this planet. It's a dirty job. All of us matter, from those you hate to those you love. You need to accept each other for who they are. Because a bully does not simply stare danger in the face. That danger came to them because people never showed them love...

Why listen to me? Why listen to anybody? I have dealt with mental problems I know right from wrong because I was taught so. I was not from a family of bad company. We loved one another regardless of when I fell apart. So I'm a loser? So I haven't got a clue in life? Maybe you're just bored and want a filler for time? Regardless, you're listening and I have a talent for reaching out to people listening to what they have to say.

My belief is that none of us is wrong or right in how we approach life. It's how we play the game that matters not the score, not the concept of winning or losing. All of us are playing a game. And all of us are important to the chain of the human family.
Like any family we argue, disagree on anything. It upsets people who were victimized and it really just flat out makes them snap for no reason period. We can blame them for doing such an act but we ourselves are to blame for ignoring them. Giving them the value of a friend when their world seems meaningless, hopeless, and ignored...

Only the blind are prejudiced.
You cannot make them see.
The seeing have no excuse for racism.
We are simply all the same.

I saw this South Africa documentary years ago.
A farmer (white, Dutch) was walking with the cameraman
through one of his fields where workers (black) were
hard at it.

He stopped by one and said "Give me your hand."
The chap held up his hand, the farmer then held the
man's hand right next to his own, close in to the camera.
"See? he said.."SEE?"

You could tell the cameraman/interviewer was confused.
The farmer stated what was obvious to him.
"HE is an animal, see the difference in our hands?"

The camera panned to the two identical palms and fingers.
Then back to the farmer.
What the farmer saw, was an animal, that is what he was taught.
What the cameraman saw was what was there..the hands of 2 men.
The same in every way.

I was so shocked.
The farmer was so righteous in his beliefs yet absolutely
blind.
Since then I have found most people to have an atavistic element
of racism..some never even try to understand how they got it
or feel the need to rid themselves of it.

It is indeed, very sad.

#nomorewhitebabies
#shagwhitewomentobreedoutracism
#breedoutwhiteboysfuckawhitegirl

the list is endless
what do you think about that ?????????
I know what I think about that but you wont hear me screaming RACISM
because I really don't care about the choices that individuals make ?
what does piss me off though are HYPOCRITES who scream RACISM without looking closer to home first to maybe find potential answers to why white men are racist ???
