I don’t view domination as weak vs. strong, more about control.
Giving up complete control is not an easy thing to do, so even
weak vs. strong, I would not consider it a weak quality.

Yes I sort of agree, my friend seemed very strong when he went into that room. But to see him now, tea cup rattling in his hand, I'm not so sure he was ready for whatever happened..

Oh yeah, it can be a weakness and/or a strength, and the question has two sides, the answer for the dominator, and the answer for the submissive.

It could be empowering to know one's limits as a sub, and get strength from that knowledge; and it could be destructive if things go wrong mentally or physically.

Even more tricky for the dom, since they have responsibility for two people's well being, while providing a safe, yet noteworthy experience, and not being boring, nor getting carried away, or causing medical grade harm.
You would already have to be pretty strong mentally to be a good dominator, and maybe even have experienced submissiveness first hand, to deliver what a sub wants.

Back in the days of Cr..'s List personals, I just couldn't believe what people were advertising to be done to them, or do to others. Some people just like some things, and humanity is diverse and demented and deviant, so some strange things are liked, eg. being a submissive slave, and some even pay for it.

Pain doesn't appeal to me, so I avoid it. Maybe that makes me weak, or not stupid. Not suffering saves my energy for better things, like pleasure.

I visit other sites, and have seen profiles, and adds on 'normal' dating sites with B and D, S and M, and some fetishes mentioned in them; yes women can be into it to - 'huge' market for Madam Lash accessories. One lady I chatted to sold her used underwear, and she said some people even buy used men's worn undies; freaks. I digress.

So, basically, if you have to go to hospital afterward, you are just weak and pathetic; and if you wear out Madam or Sir, and all their toys, appliances, and torture devices, you are a weirdo hero.
Maybe see a doctor or a shrink anyway.

But depends on a lot of factors that aren't provided.

Other than that, does it matter if it makes you (your friend, whomever) weak?
Does it matter if it shows a weakness in one area since it might not be representative of all areas?
Is it inherently "bad" to be weak?
Is being weak a desired goal? In totality or absolutely? I mean some people like to play weak in order to stroke their ego in overcoming it to prove they're strong. "Yay! I'm strong! I accomplished something!"
Some people like to be proven to be weak absolutely in order to validate their fears about themselves. "Yay! I'm right!"

But, generally speaking, if you are willfully seeking out controlled situations of power dynamics, it does mean there is some kind of "weakness" you're trying to fix, understand/accept, or exploit.

I don't know, but I guess being dominated is kinda like being weak. Not that it matters, as long as he enjoys what he gets up or down to..
