The G7 summit is just a few miles down the road from me this year, widely regarded by the locals as a pain in the arz.
loads of shiny shoes and drones, expensive cars, suits and endless forms of id to go any where.
What makes me laugh is that a bunch of world leaders are staying in the same shabby hotel that i used for a works do.

St Ives is like a blast from the past, tiny cobbled streets, pokey little houses,pokey little shops. Crazy place to have a summit.

Maybe the scenery and quaintness will inspire some different thinking.Who knows

Sounds as if they got smart and are holding it in a less
populated area due to the virus.

That's probably got something to do with it, i would guess. the hotel is pretty much on the beach as well.

It's a good beach as well. I could probably swim around the headland and do a streak across the beach. That would get my face seen lol

the picketing may backfire .... if there were nudists present .... the picketed may just join in ...

Couldn't they then have chosen an uninhabited island as opposed to the only place left with descendants from the real Britons...
