I thought it would be nice to chat about hair, make up, clothes, women's issues.
Like I am getting foils in a week and I would love to hear suggestions on what colors you think would go with my hair? My hair is longer than in my profile and I am wondering whether to add darker or lighter foils? I have this one cool white streak from age, should I go with more white streaks?

And I have been wearing CC foundation. I love it. What do you use? I just ordered a new brand online, Phero I think, I love the peachy glow.

 I think multi tone would look lovely, especially if your hair is now longer. I colour my own hair and I use a great product by Josh Wood, who is a colourist.

I don’t wear makeup very often, but when I do I wear very little and I only use bareminerals

I'd say a little darker.

Foundation... I don't use it. Never have, never will. I don't even know why you use it, hihi. I always have had good skin so no reason and the thought of plastering my face, ughh...
Makes me feel I cannot breathe. Also, I haven't the patience for all that stuff. Bare basics only.

In case of problems with hair-loss or scalp issues... Maria Nila shampoo & conditioner.
Expensive, but the only thing that actually works!

But even then... I assume even that has its limits...

I wear foundation because I like to hide my freckles. Usually go with Almay.

My hair was almost to my waist. I just had a few inches cut off. It gets too hard to take care of, mostly being tangled.

Cover girl true blend has always been my go to foundation. I looooove make up! Especially lipstick and lipgloss. I'm noticing a lot of changes in my skin due to covid, sun exposure and getting older. I made an appointment with a cosmetologist. I'm hoping to find a makeup that feels lighter to wear. Maybe a spray mineral foundation.
My hair has thinned out with age. I've been using a biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner and I love the results. OXG is the brand. I just colored my hair as a reward for weightloss goal.
Sunset colors (red, orange and yellow with a rich dark base) and I love it even if it has faded.

I'm guy and I let my hair grow.
I have really fine hair.
I shampoo but I never use conditioner yet people just love my hair 'look'.
I never do anything 'special' to my hair?
Sometimes I don't even brush it yet people love it?

I must admit, I love the fresh shower 'look' of women's hair.
Of course, I love the 'natural' look of any woman.

It seems to me putting too much 'effort' into your image takes away from your natural beauty and you should 'embrace' that which you are, naturally. But, I understand how some women might 'think' they need to go that extra step to attract 'their man'.

I've never really understood the 'make up', 'primp' mentality of women?
Perhaps it is a trait common with nest building? I mean, after all. birds do it naturally. I dunno.

Frankly, a woman who is shower fresh is more appealing. I'd rather be with someone who is naturally beautiful to me than someone who needs to put on their 'face'. To me...That's lying!

Lol Tom. I called it a 'Women's Thread' for a reason... Make up and hair can be so much fun. I don't wear make up very often but I must admit I love transforming myself... mainly the eyes. Youtube has some great tutorials. Prince and David Bowie looked awesome with makeup in IMO.

The thread may evolve to more than make up and hair. Today I watched a video of a woman who had acid thrown on her face, something men do not have to worry about. I thought of posting the link to hear what other women think of that, but I was not sure of the rules.

 aww well done on your weight loss Carebear flowerforyou I have just lost 12 lbs and I feel so much better for it, although I have no goal I am just eating healthier and exercising better.

I use that OGX biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner, and I have done now for about two years. I’ve tried others brands but always come back to the OGX.
