Speaking in rhyme
Some don't have talent,
Some don't have time,

I'd say my night,
Was slightly better,
I talked about my love,
I want to go get her,

But alas she's away
Further than before,
I just want to tell her,
She's the one I adore,

But a friend has been there,
Like an angel she's here,
With people like these,
I've nothing to fear.

tonight was good
things went like they should
tomarrow will be great
more new friends I can't wait

Then go get her my friend,
before the night does end,
and you regret what you knew that you wanted...
it's memories like these,
when we didn't do what we please,
that by years later, you will still be haunted.

Don't worry young lady, I'll pick up the slack...
and if you can't find something to rhyme about...
don't pout.
Rhyming isn't the easiest thing...
it's like those that try but just can't sing...
seems like not matter what you do,
the rhyme just won't come to you...
in any case, don't you fret...

Well the only thing that I can suggest,
is that you change your speed all due course,
If the girl has unfurled your world for you,
Then you should head towards that force...

Drop everything that you are doing,
or how you are thiking about her now...
Start walking, first out the door, down the block,
over mountains, past fields,
just do it...
doesn't matter how.

Drop your world as you know it...
if she is indeed waiting for you...
Let her know that you are no longer waiting,
for things to be perfect, because when you do...

She will thank you...
for stopping your life,
and making her dreams come true.

and I know that if she knew, she couldn't wait till you were there,
A man like you, with the words that you speak,
It's funny how with just a look,
she makes your knees weak.

To take such a trip, you don't need a sign...
I can't tell when you're together, your love will be devine.
If she only could see, how you struggle in vain,
To stay where you are, and to deal with the pain,
of loving her deeply and wanting to go,
and waiting, and waiting, love often is slow...

That I'm glad that you grasped what you wanted tonight,
(and, even if only in dreams) you let your love take flight...

even without body it soon will arrive,
and together, you and her, "till you show up" will survive.

Ah but many a night, through my mind, poetry does sift...
It falls thru the veins that run down my neck,
and flows through my fingers as they hunt and peck,
I thank you for such a kind sentence you wrote,
and upon my quickness, how you yourself, quickly did dote...
