Like many other issues with Texas (and other states) you are wrong in regards to texas not allowing headgear to be worn when taking a drivers license photo; or at least in regards to them being able to legally enforce it. There are many cases NATIONWIDE where an individual has sued for discrimination and stereotyping, etc for being made to take off their hat. Your initial spiel regarding military regs is also off base since it has no bearing on this matter (since we are discussing a VETERAN and not an active duty soldier). Once you are discharged from the military you can not be held to their standrds. The ONLY possible exception (and this is based off of point of view) is if you are reinstated to face court martial for actions performed while in service prior to discharge. Bu then, you have been reinstated thus you are active duty again and not a civilian, even if you did not agree to the change in status, so ;-) Edit: also as a point of interest headgear IS allowed to be worn in side if you enter a building with your arms full or if you are bearing arms (handling a weapon) There are a few other exceptions to the rule as well but this should suffice in showing the facts. glad to see you know so much about everything, we need another know it all around here... Since I began voting, and I have not missed a Presidential election, every candidate I have voted for has won. The one EXCEPTION being, I voted for Gore. He probably actually won but the ozone held on to that hanging chad just a little too long. It seemed a wee wanky to me at the time because his brother happened to be Governor of the state that had the issue. And it swung his bro's way. Huh. All that may be true, but Florida wouldn't have mattered had Gore won his home state. Even Walter Mondale won his home state in 1984 while losing the other 49. |

After careful consideration and based on the presumption that evidence of previous bombings within Russia were in fact carried out by the FSB... I feel it is not out of the realm of possibility that this attack could have been carried out by the Russians themselves.
I typed in this forum a few months ago I felt Putin wanted a scorched earth campaign in Syria to kill off as many chechens as he could and improve his sagging image at home. Blowing up apartment buildings in Moscow validated his ethnic cleansing campaign in Chechnya and with that he has become Tsar for life.. |
