ANY group that segregates or focuses on race is racist by nature. to be racist you don't have to violent, you just have to either allow or deny or give preferential treatment to one based on their race alone. ALL Human lives matter, focusing on a particular subsection of lives based on race alone is in and of itself racist. There is no ENTIRE system of racism. There are localized cases. There are examples. There is NO systemic racism. Your exceptionalism theory is very much part of every race. There are millions of white people that ain't got s**t. For this white privilege and other nonsense to hold water then every white person should be rich and every black person poor. Otherwise it is all about whether or not the individual has what it takes or they don't. Racism isn't why every single black person that is poor is poor. Or why someone goes out and shoots someone. yes, the SYSTEM that supported and reinforced SLAVERY based upon race the SYSTEM that supported and reinforced JIM CROW Based upon race the SYSTEM That supported and reinforced REDLINING(housing discrimination) Based upon race the SYSTEM that supported and reinforced covert racist policies that disproportionately targeted the aforemented suppresed race that is SYSTEMATIC whites not having stuff is not because of a system set up to KEEP Them from having it,,, and as I stated before,, oppression doesnt require EXCLUSIVITY not all Muslim women are oppressed or poor, certainly INDIVIDUAL women have excelled in some areas, but that doesnt negate the systemic oppression women as a GROUP face in those same regions,,, noone has suggested that every INDIVIDUAL who is poor is because of this system, anymore than everyone who is RICH is because of their hard work,,, The post that I quoted originally said this is a racist country. So, the solution? Time to take off the restraints. Let people SAY what they want to say and get out their frustrations, fears, and prejudices. When they have talked themselves out, sit them down and say "Ok, Bob, I understand what you're saying, but did you know....." and have a REAL discussion about race and prejudice. Stop trying to force people to hide their ignorance and hatred. Let it vent, let society exhale, and then use that as a teachable moment. There will never be a real discussion. One side is blamed for all and the other side never takes any responsibility for anything. How do you discuss anything when that is the starting point? |

I am strongly doubting his birthname(white name) was King Noble So... The racist-who-hates-whitey, deliberately changed his name, to a whitey name? On purpose? Oh, the irony. Seems it'd be alot like David Duke, changing his name, to something with a traditional African flair. africans had nobility and kings,, so why is that a 'white' thing'? They didn't call themselves kings or queens because they didn't speak English. Use an African language. Mfalme is king in Swahili... I suppose it would be silly to point out a bit of science among the bulls#!t. A chap called Milton Meyer did the research, tested the assumptions, and wrote a book on the subject, called "They thought they were free - The Germans from 1933 - 1945." Read it. Then comment. Thank you, S. I don't recall much science being involved, but it was 15 or so years ago when I read this book. And it's Mayer not Meyer. He moved to Germany after the war.. lied about who he was.. made some friends.. got them to tell him how they felt about their lives before during and after the nazis. The only thing I recall of importance is that they all liked Hitler didn't like the war and never thought the nazis were totalitarians. Big deal.. |
