Thanks for reporting it, Suzanne20. This is a known bug. It only happens a few times per page (on average), which is the main reason we have not yet addressed it.

Yeah, you'll want to be aware of and delete such cookies, if you are cautious about tracking cookies.

Hi, cattails. I think that some of the confusion is stemming from the fact that a user outside of your chosen range can click your 'Match with Her' button. Doing this adds that man to your Mutual Match pool. If you select No, of course, the man will not be added to the space in question. If you select Yes or Maybe, though, the person will be added as a Mutual Match.

Also, there is a bug when it comes to this space/box on one's 'My Account' page. When an account is deactivated or banned, it is removed from you page here. It is not, however, removed from the space/box in question.

We appreciate all of the replies. We understand that most will not embrace these ads and that it may not be possible for some to block them. It is important, however, for Mingle2 to keep a war chest during this economic downturn.

This latest trial (noted in the edit of the OP) seems to be working out more like we had hoped, but we are still scrutinizing it. We will continue to evaluate it until we have made the decision to keep or do away with it.

Welcome to the forums, Matt. Your first few emails never reached their destination, for various reasons (I sent you an email about this). The other ones were just sent today, so you may just need to be more patient, in those cases.

As you alluded to, the general idea is to contact people who appear to be active. After you find the first account which has not been online in 30 or more days, you can be sure that any account passed that one will also be inactive.

Hello, xgator. We have tested the IM on a number of accounts, and it seems to be working normally. Once you log off, we will test your account specifically. At this time, though, we're fairly sure that the problem is on the user side.

We tested it on your account, and the IM program is working. I wish I knew what to suggest, but make sure that you are not contacting others who have their email filters set to exclude you. Otherwise, they will not even see the invitation, even though it appears (to you) that your invitation was successful.

What is the difference between a public and private photo? Public photos can be seen by anyone looking at your profile. Private photos can only be seen by you. If you send someone the URL of your private photo in a Mail or an IM message, they will be able to view it when they click on the URL
