I went down this morning to sign up my dog for welfare. At first the lady said dogs are not eligible to draw welfare. Then I explained to her that my dog is unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and has no clue who his Daddy is. So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My dog gets his first check Friday. Is this a great country or what? |

kind of in poor taste, considering the current state of the economy,,,I have needed assistance and am none of the above,,,I worked since I was 18 (20 odd years) before being in this situation where I lost a job and cannot find gainful employment , I speak perfect english, and I am aware of who my childs father is but he happens to be homeless since the recession hit(not to mention in a different country)
it insults many hard working adults when people assume that needing help equates to being lazy, or stupid, or promiscuous,,,instead of just having hit hard times... |

come on people, it was a "JOKE" I took it as a "joke" did ya ever notice nobody gets upset about joke degrading white guys just like crackers in the soup i guess no big deal kind of interesting no one mentioned race except those calling it racist wonder who that makes the racist

COME ONE!!!! |

To say that all welfare recipients don't speak English is a racist statement. To say that all welfare recipients do not know who the daddy is is a prejudice statement also. So this joke is in very poor taste and discriminatory. Comparing welfare recipients to dogs is not in good taste either. |
