If you dated someone for awhile, say 2 years, it didn't work out, but now your girlfriend wants him, would you mind?

nope, unless, it didnt work out because he was abusive,,

then Id kind of be hurt about having to be around him because of my friends choice and Id be disappointed that she was risking the same thing happening to her,,and Id be upset that she could fall for someone she knew had abused me

if it was an amicable split where we just werent compatible,, who cares ??

that's right, if it wasn't to be, oh well. but why put the
kibosh on two friends lives, live and let live. if they
end up together, all the better.

I am sure that it'll be hard to do but put him out of your memory and move on. Let him live his life and you live yours. I can almost bet that you will feel better instantly. On the subject of being around him, don't let that cross your mind. You can still be sociable and friendly. Just because a romantic situation feel apart between the two of you...doesn't mean that a friendship will suffer. I wish you all the best.

Yes I would. I'm not hanging with her while she's doing him. It's just too strange for me. I would never feel comfortable or...right in the head.

Humm to me that would be a weird situation. I myself would not take a friends left overs.... Besides most the time that just does not work out in the long run......

But if they want that then good luck to them..............

I would think that would cause a problem with the friendship in the long run....whoa

The grown up part of me says no problem. The girl inside me knows differently. If you are best friends, that means you share all the details about everything in your lives. Many break-ups are messy.

I really wouldn't want to hear the details about what they do together. I've opted out of starting over with someone elses ex. I wouldn't want to jeopardize our friendship. Boyfriends come and go-good friends are hard to find.

Yeah people are not adult enough to handle situations that require them to act civilized, move forward and control themselves to allow anything like that.If remaining friends jealousy may arise on anyside at any point, for instance.

True story:

I dated someone years ago in my teenage years........we had both moved on had families yadda yadda yadda......

I was dating a man for about two years........ we had been dating a few months.....

Ex-boyfriend moves back to town and is friends with new bf........well ex-boyfriends ends up becoming our roommate bcs the season was not right for getting an economical place to reside.......new bf knows from get go the friends is an ex-boyfriend from teenage years.......incidents happen bcs neither could be adult like even though they were supposedly fine with it......ex-bf teen years gets drunk and makes passes when bf not around......put him in place everytime and tell him ship long sailed go to ur room and sleep it off........new bf now living sitch is what it is starts get jealous when drunk and saying nasty things anyways things get worked out they stop and finally act adult for a while........culmination new bf is now ex-bf and ex-bf moved new place.......funny still friends with both though.......the crazy thing is they hate each other........I say flipping ridiculous......so there is my as the world burns story for ya............am sure there are more......I just simply refuse to battle.......
