..and who said God evolved the same as we did? that point is that you are admitting that God evolved Why? Cause I'm just agreeing with you and saying he did? Simply because I said, 'the same as we did'.. that means that suddenly out of nowhere, I'm agreeing that he evolved? Wow.. I never suggested it, just didn't argue it. Like I said, I won't argue something I don't know much about. Like, say, God's evolution or lack thereof.. All I suggested that IF he did, who said it HAD to be like we did. I figured saying he didn't evolve would just give me another headache.. ..which apparently, it's going to anyway. |

Think about who you're typing about.You're typing about grown adults who believe a magic man poofed everything into existance and have no idea why their magic man did it.They believe a man lived in a whale,a snake that talked,a donkey that talk,a man who screwed his daughters after they got him drunk,a woman that was turned to salt,when the magic man got pissed he commited genocide. This magic man also put a baby in a "virgin",the baby became a minime magic man and turned water into wine and walked on water....so really think about who you're debating with.They worship this magic man and his baby,but have never seen this magic man.On top of all this all 3 Abrahamic religions were stolen from the Sumerian,Babylonian,Greek and whatever other mythos it wanted to steal the stories from. And you know what?? To the natural mind of man, The Bible is not supposed to make sense !!! The Bible will NEVER make sense to the natural mind of man !!! AND THIS IS WHY : WE ARE ALL SPIRITUALLY BLIND ...UNTIL OUR SPIRITUAL EYES ARE OPENED AGAIN. UNTIL GOD FIRST DRAWS US, AND THEN OPENS OUR SPRITTUAL EYES TO HIS TRUTH (WHICH HAPPENS WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN ),NONE OF US CAN MAKE SENSE OF GOD'S WORD. NONE OF US!!! NOT UNTIL GOD STARTS DRAWING US.... BUT.... WHEN GOD DOES , THEN AlL OF A SUDDEN WE START TO HUNGER FOR THE WORD..AND WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH...WHEREAS WE NEVER DID BEFORE.... AND ALSO WHEN GOD STARTS DRAWNG US , SUDDENLY IT DAWNS ON US THAT SOMETHING IS HAPPENING INSIDE OF US..AS GOD BEGINS TO DEAL WITH US....AND WITH OUR HEART. AMEN? But UNTIL then.... we cannot understand the things of the spirit,with just our natural minds . We just can't. And again... no one can.....until God opens our eyes...and we become Born again . I never suggested it, just didn't argue it. Like I said, I won't argue something I don't know much about. Like, say, God's evolution or lack thereof.. All I suggested that IF he did, who said it HAD to be like we did. I figured saying he didn't evolve would just give me another headache.. ..which apparently, it's going to anyway. if you are going to debate then perhaps you should learn to stand by what you post...and not resort to lying or making excuses or denying the content in your posts simply because you don't want me to be right...we have more than enough people doing that already you clearly made a suggestion that God and Humans evolved ...so try and stick by what you post... instead of finding ways to contradict your own posts |

Ok i'll just simply put,water is the creator.Know why i'll explain i have worked on abandon homes where the pool in a screen enclosure was basically a lake and you know what there was fish in it,algea and tiny shrimp in it.Also there are people who actually use shovels and found different skeletal remains of humans over the years that show how we evolved over time.As for natural selection thats a fact men and women today even have it.
By the way what did your God do with the dinosaurs? |

Why is it that so many theists have a problem with the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection as proposed by Darwin? Why is it so hard for them to accept that after a few thousand years of development mankind began to use the brainpower granted them [by God?] to observe the natural world and develop an explanation of the origin and evolution of biological beings using reason, logic and evidence - rather than the guesswork and superstison of primitive desert-dwellers who knew far less than their descendants would? Why should a 7000(?) year old theory be held accountable to a 150 year old theory? It was forgivable of primitive Man to believe in Geocentricism, since from our perspective is does indeed appear that the heavens revolve around a static Earth. Now we know the truth about our planet's position in the cosmos - but we do not grant the theory of Geoncentricism the same respect that we do of Creationism, yet we now have far better explanations for the origins of life than those hypothesised by ancient Hebrews. So why is it that modern-day theists easily accept that our planet orbits around a star yet find it so difficult to acknowledge that humans are just another species of animal? Why believe in gravity but not evolution? Because the more militant believer is heavily invested both emotionally and intellectualy in biblical inerrancy, and Evolution is a direct challenge to that principle. In fact, much of science is-- it's just that some aspects of science can more easily be spun to support biblical inerrancy than others. Gravity can be supported by direct observation and measurement. Evolution, not so much. And when more compelling and irrefutable proof for Evolution is found, the more militant believer will just recalibrate and call Evolution a metaphor that STILL supports her position, just not as literally as once was claimed. Having already lost the fight to smother Evolution in its creche and having also lost the fight to keep it out of the Institutions of learning, the militant believer is all " ...mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore." And unable to bring back the Spanish Inquisition to give their beliefs the force of Law without debate and with intmidation, they mostly lose their cases to have their beliefs supplant scientific realities in impartial courts where reasoned debate is the only tools allowed past the doors. -Kerry O. |

For me the fundamental answers about the meaning of life come not from science but from a consideration of the origins of our uniquely human sense of right and wrong....*quoted The theory of natural selection explains life as we find it, with all its quirks and tragedies.
