Where does it state that God "fertilized" Marry's egg? Where does it state that God placed a penis inside of Marry to empregnate her? It doesn't. It states that she had not known a man eg., she was a virgin and Jesus was born of virgin Marry. Therefore if she was a virgin, no sex happened. Isaiah 7:14 14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Jesus was supposed to come from the "seed" of Abraham ...a fertilized seed needs a catalyst generally referred to as the sperm I don't see how Jesus was, do not know of any particular verses that state he is. Again, how does it stagnate my consciousness? Do you know what the word "repent" means? It means to stop doing, or to sustain from doing as such. Which would be not stagnate, for stagnate things don't change, grow, or anything but stay the same. is there a more powerful God than the one in the greater 1)to answer no...would be an example of how the belief stagnate your consciousness 2)to answer yes, means that you are allowing your consciousness to imagine beyond God... so is it door number one or door number two

For instance Today, you may lie, at least occasionally. But every time you do lie, you have a bad feeling on your conscience. So eventually you overcome lying, as you can feel it's wrong. So again, how does this make one stagnate? And how does it mean I will always be a sinner? For again you do one sin today, and it remains on your conscience eg., feeling guilty for doing as such. So to cure this, you repent from lying. And that shows right there you do not stay "stagnate". That is what life is for, it is a growing process.

Every time I come to this thread my "brain" keeps saying think spirituality, then think evolution and its significance to spiritual development....Why?...Adaptability to change...... As humans, we are the most adaptable organism on the planet....Keeping this in mind, compare the rate of human adaptability to the rate of all other living organisms that evolve genetically....The difference will astound you...What takes humans 1,000's of years to adapt to, takes all other living organisms hundreds of millions of years!...This opens the door to the question, why?.... When I contemplate that, I always come back to one thing, spirituality...Humans are spiritual....It's what sets us apart and can only be attributed to a higher power.... For me, this does not mean the scriptures rule, it only means that my individual spirituality (it's level of adaption and it's particular ability to adapt) is what dictates how I, as one individual, choose to live my life..... I think you make an excellent scenario for the survival of the fittest point. Writing in his diary during the Beagle voyage (specifically on January 19, 1836), a young Mr. Darwin records his experiences with a rather odd Australian animal; In the dusk of the evening I took a stroll along a chain of ponds, which in this dry country represent the course of a river, & had the good fortune to see several of the famous Platypus or Ornithorhyncus paradoxicus. Immaculate Conception only means that you didn't have sex or get pregnant by a Human Male ... which means that if God or a turkey baster was used to get a woman pregnant ...it would constitute as being Immaculate Conception

God doesn't have to use any sperm. He wills it and it's done. God willed for Marry to be conceived with Jesus and it was done. No sperm, no sex, no foreplay, no dinner, just that simple, God willed it to be and it was done.

Not meaning this as an insult in anyway, but doing this gives great display of Funches Arrogance. Debating weather a religion is true or not never bares good fruit. You can not "convince" another of a belief. They have to come to it on their own. But it's hard for me to just sit by while someone lies about God. I do not wish for people to be left with Funches' confusion, disbelief, and arrogance. Things I post are not for Funches in exacts. I do not discuss with Funches. I discuss with the words he types out. I discuss with the topic, not the person. This keeps any personal grudges or any form of emotion towards the one being discussed with.
