I truly don't care specifically if he agrees with me or not. There is nothing gained on my side. I hope one day his eyes are opened to the truth, but all in all that's not the reasoning behind this.

I didn't read the discussion. I read the last post, confirmed that the discussion was stupid and pointless and then I made my post. I really doubt that anyone "reads" these posts. What they see if they do read a post is Funches making an intentionally stupid argument against Christianity and you taking him seriously and refuting his statements as if they had some intellectual value.

Not meaning this as an insult in anyway, but doing this gives great display of Funches Arrogance. Debating weather a religion is true or not never bares good fruit. You can not "convince" another of a belief. They have to come to it on their own. But it's hard for me to just sit by while someone lies about God. I do not wish for people to be left with Funches' confusion, disbelief, and arrogance.

Things I post are not for Funches in exacts. I do not discuss with Funches. I discuss with the words he types out. I discuss with the topic, not the person. This keeps any personal grudges or any form of emotion towards the one being discussed with.

It is not your job to enlighten others about Funches truths or lies...That is up to each individual, to make their own determination...You give others too little credit, perhaps they are not the least bit confused by what Funches posts....Perhaps they are intelligent enough, schooled enough, to sort out lies from truths, decide who is arrogant and who is not...Perhaps your give yourself too much credit....

I'm doing no preaching here. Preaching is done to a group of people that have come just for that, to hear preaching.

There is no debate going on. A debate is over showing who's right and who's wrong. I couldn't care less if funches agree's or he continues in the way he is. If he wishes to continue on his path, that is all fine and dandy. More power to him.

That is why free will is such a great thing. You are accounted for your own actions. Someone else's actions can not effect that in anyway. If he wishes to not believe, again more power to him. But I will not just sit by allowing his false statements about Christianity be the last thing someone reads. Why would I? Why would any Christian?

Or it "should only" be done to a group of people who have come for that, to hear preaching....when you do not converse with a person, when you address only their words, when you refuse to use their name, you are preaching and your are preaching to an audience of one....Semantics and religion do not mix......If you want people to take you seriously, you should stop combining the two....
