I know this 'what do women look for in a man' question is asked at least once a week here and at least 5 times a day in yahoo answers and I know the answers to THAT general question no doubt, but what are the traits that a Christian woman look for in a man BESIDES the things EVERY other woman looks for?

I've often heard the "must love God more than me"
but what are rest?
some of the traits I look for in a christian man is a man who is comfortable with leading most of the time, one who is comfortable in his own skin, one who ejoys helpin others, someitmes I like a uniqueness about my potential mate,I like a guys who takes care of his hygiene, someone who knows how to groom himself, good teeth lol and many other ones but these are the most important.

It’s just a self-destructive form of bigotry.

But Christians aren’t the only ones. Jews have a tendency to only marry other Jews, and so on.

I wouldn’t be able to live with anyone who is overly religious in any form. The simple fact is that we would be living in two differnet worlds. I would be living in the here and now, and she would be living in her future (i.e. have her eyes on the afterlife as being what’s more important).

I’d prefer to have someone who is actually living in this life with me.
i think you said a mouth full here, most people are going to marry people who share the same beliefs as they do, just as you stated in your post...thats why its not so wierd that christians wanna marry christians..just think if they were to marry a muslim dont you think that would cause conflict in the relationship?????????? I've seen people who hate sports marry folks who love them and thats a problem, how much more when it comes to something as important as religion...

I too have seen personal profiles where women are demanding a ‘Christian man’. Every time I see those I just shake my head because I personally know a lot of non-Christian men who would make much better husbands and fathers than a lot of Christian men I know. So I think those women are losing chances for some really great potential lifemates. I think it’s pretty sad when religion can actually destroy the potential for love. Seems to me there is something inherently evil in that. How can something that supposedly has to do with God actually get in the way of love??
Sad but true, its a shame that some christian men arent being very good christians...thats not Gods fault its the mans fault...If we were really following the bible I know that there would be alot more great christian marriages out there but all to much we tend to be selfish people in nature we reject the bible truths when it explains in deatail how we are to treat our spouse and then wonder why were standing in divorce court....
