gypsy wanted stats, so i gave them to her, because housewife thinks that she has all the answers, and if not, she'll just make fun of people. ... that is the best she has to offer. no links, no data, no proof, just well this is what i think and if you don't agree than hahahaha i'll make fun of you...
its boring and infantile :) so fine, i posted the stats, and i couldn't format them in a readable format, sorry bummer, siht happens. but i'm not sitting here talking crack about people and decideing who is and who isn't a good person and who is a bad person and so on... geez i'm working right now and i pop in here a few times and these old biddies sit here all day and squawk like parrots making commentaries on everyone and anything that they can use to make jokes about in order to make themselves feel better... grow the fcuk up and act your age, not the length of baggage you drag behind you |
you know what about this pisses me off?
you are ALL on a singles site who the fcuk are you all to sit back and decide whether or not a person who has been married more than once is worse than a person that has only been married once, and so forth... you sit on your computers, in your damn homes, or offices, and pass judgment on whomever and whatever you think you can, and if you can't do that, then you put people down either behind their backs or put them down in the threads and talk siht about people as though you're lives are all figured out and you wonder WHY men go after girsl that are younger? who the fcuk wants to deal with that over 30 chip on their shouldered broad that thinks she's had so much life experience that she is and can and will just arbitrarily judge whomever she feels she can judge from the safety of her own computer i don't claim to be all that, and i'm definitely not one of teh prettiest boys on this site, but i don't act like my siht doesn't stink and my gentitals are made of gold you arrogant, arrogant, self righteous judgmental pathetic little people |

There is little information on people who marry three or more times, because the demographic is relatively small. Census surveys show that only 3 percent of men and women marry three times or more, compared with 13 percent of men and 14 percent of women who marry twice.
But third marriages are, by logic, more common among older Americans, and when broken down by age the census figures show a significantly higher incidence of marriage for certain groups. Eight percent of men and 6 percent of women in their 50s had married three or more times, 2001 figures show, and so had 7 percent of men and 6 percent of women in their 60s. |

sit back and wait, i have enough stuff here for 100 threads on here :)
its tryign to format it so its readable... because I'm a statstician, i can see the numbers and understand them... i don't watch oprah you see, so i have to use the multiple degrees, 15 certificates, 5 languages, and overwhelming education i have as my guide.. dr phil just doesn't cut it for me |

i have tons of data:
here's more: Women and men of the middle-upper class marry at a later age and tend to remain married more often, whereas partners who belong to lower classes marry younger and divorce more. The average age gap (in all social classes) is the same between men and women (1 year). (Average age gap in the world : 2 and a half years). The age gap increases between partners who remarry : men tend to remarry with younger women. The research on the stability of remarried couples is not yet sufficient. But the first data collected show remarried couples are less stable than upper class couples who got married in their thirties. It has been also observed that stabler couples tend to share the same advantages (physical attractiveness, instruction, wealth), values and style of life and that partners of those couples do many activities together. Tentative explanation : upper class partners draw more benefits from marriage (including benefits drawn by the fact that they can combine a better access to resources). The only exception to the rule concerns ... artists. The main factor is women's access to resources. High divorce and remarriage rates have been observed among traditional societies of hunters-gatherers where women bring as much resources as men. |

freeAgent, yup apparantly....
makes me nervous because i'll be on number 2 if i meet anyone, and i'm damn aware of the statistics, so i'm glad i took a long time off between getting my heart broken.... ironically the woman i fell in love with wasn't whom i married/divorced.... i met her afterwards how's that for irony of the gods? |
wouldn't that go for the first marriage? what difference would it make if they failed twice over once? what once is ok and twice is taboo?
i think its interesting that all those who haven't been married twice think that its taboo for the people that have been, because well they've only been married once, except for 1 itty bitty little problem.... statistics have proven that over 90% of all third marriages have a lifetime success rate, and that over 75% of second marriages fail if one or the other have been married before... also, the rate percentage of marriages that occur as a second marraige from a divorce is over 95% so that means, that if any of you get married again, and you fail at it, then according to your own judgments you are no longer to be trusted and incapable of having a relationship... wonder if you'll wanna wear that same hat when you end up burning yourself... because after all, the authorities in these statistical fields say you'll do it again AND have a 75% chance of failing! hahaha, never say what you might do yourself, because your foot will only make your mouth bigger by being shoved in it so much |
