Fear~
I saw a film last year at the Cleveland Film Festival that addressed this very issue. If you love someone, set them free. And on the other side, if you love them, you'd live and try to heal to be with them. Suicide, ultimately, is a selfish decision and it's not based on love. Therefore... a person who commits suicide truly loves no one, including themselves. IMO |

Once you get rid of the pest, make sure you buy some of that expandable foam in a can and seal up all cracks and gaps in your house, paying special attention areas around windows, doors, pipes and wires that enter the home from the outside. Caulk is cheaper and more effective. I thought her suggestion was great. Your is another alternative. We all have preferences. OP should select her option.

All you can do is take from this what you can use positively for the future. Nothing more. There are times when people feel a certain way and like it, and they delude themselves that it is more than it is. Perhaps this is what happened to your guy. He may have felt that he had to choose between you and his family, and that is never a good situation.
Move home, start over... and next time, well, just treat next time as different. Be a bit sager... but you went with your heart and that's not wrong. Don't have regrets. Don't let this situation keep you from finding the potential for love again. You deserve that. |
