I will NEVER be old, but already gray. I'm just like Old Sage...lol I'm probably one of the oldest on this site and hope I never have to slow down.. I did give up riding my Harley sportster last summer, not because I wanted to but didn't feel safe getting off and on since I've had several surgerys on my legs and feet..will just find something else to do... 
Would love to find someone to share life with but if I don't, Oh well...thats life! |

Morning y'all! Carole...good shopping trip!...but more importantly, how did you lose 55 pounds???? I didn't say anything but I had my stomach reduced on Dec. 11th and have lost 40lbs since then.. While going thru the program (it took me almost 7 mo) I lost another 15 lbs.. I've had a lot of problems with my diabetes the last couple of years and decided to have the surgery.. Just one nite in the hospital and it was done laprascopic....My stomach is now the size of a large hotdog....Although I was sore, I didn't need any pain meds (after coming home) and was off my blood pressure and insulin meds within 3 days after surgery.. I feel better than I have in 15 yrs...

Good morning. Did someone say 'bargains'? That woke me up.  Details. We need details. 
Morning minglers, Since I have lost 55 lbs, my cloths are getting too big.. Shopped a presidents day sale and found four tops for $5 each.. Each one had been between $45-$55..my kind of shopping!

Morning everyone....The sun is shining big time and the temps are up in the low 30's...no snow or rain today!! Spent yesterday afternoon doing a little shopping (got some bargains)and visited with my daughter and her family.. Had a nice time!

Morning Jeff and Glenda, It's 39 this morning, not getting much warmer but the storm passed with only some freezing rain and no snow so we were lucky...

Good morning. I bought a replacement wiper blade for the one I broke off trying to chip the ice off. Was glad I still had some money on my NetSpend card I got back from Turbotax. Bought some groceries and gas on the way home from work. Don't you just hate it when stuff like that happens?  Glad you had some money to get a new one...

Get well viv. Shame on you fox, I done been to the gym, now I feel alrighty. Don't you want to feel alrighty too? 
I do feel alrighty now!!!  The roads were better than my drive and its only 1/2 mile from me...

Morning everyone, Well, still very cold (16+ windchill)and a couple of inches of snow.....Reading the local paper online I see there were lots of accidents early this morning, must have been icy.. snowing again.. Good day to stay inside and do some things around the appartment...

Hippie, I know how you feel...I was in the hospital for depression when I was young and pregnant...I've learned that keeping as much negative stuff (and people)out of my life sure helps.. Winter is always worse for anyone with depression, dark days and bad weather.. We're here for you.. Hope you're feeling better.

Good morning all, cold and windy here again (14) and we got about 1 1/2" of snow last night...brrrr! Was not a good day yesterday, got news that my cousin in Florida (he's 65) has brain cancer and only has aboout 3 wks.. He had polio when he started 1st grade and has had lots of problems his whole life...so sad. And a friend from high school who was my neighbor (in my hometown)passed away yesterday.. its getting too close to home..
Roy, glad you finally got your bed but sorry to hear about your truck..
Jeff, sorry you had to spend a day at the doctors.. Hope its nothing serious...
Hippie, hope you are doing well...
Glenda, Are you getting out much other than therapy?
