Home sick, watching Project Runway. I want comfort food, so I’m heating up some Spaghettios that Mark brought me from the US.

Should women have many tats?

Nothing turns me on more than to see, "hector was here" tatted on a womens backside.
OT: Should they? Sure, why not. I don’t personally have any, and I have seen a lot that I thought looked tacky. But I’ve also seen some that are beautiful. A professionally-done sleeve that looks like lace or floral is more appealing to me than a bunch of random, unrelated tattoos. |

Is Trump Becoming Likeable?

I'm not seeing it. Same tired, long-winded repetitive speeches, same persecution complex, same childish insults. This stuff didn't work for him last time and now he's losing supporters. You'd think he'd try a different tact.

Took Mark to the airport earlier and now I'm getting caught up on American Idol and Survivor episodes.

Thinking that when one moves in a spiral of negativity it is best that they leave the environments that contribute to that, whether it is physical or virtual. Not everyone is equipped to think beyond their own (tissues and) issues and be empathetic towards others. Therefore, wish these people well and move on...
Totally agree, Merry. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
OT: Thinking that it's going to be rough returning to work tomorrow after having 2 weeks off. But I have missed my little first graders and I'm looking forward to hearing about their travels over spring break.

Ha! That’s how I feel about shisha. I got really into it when I lived in Egypt and now I’m hooked. Not into cigarettes, but nearly every weekend I go out for shisha.

Who like thai foods????

I just returned yesterday from Thailand. I don’t like all Thai food (seemed like most included some sort of seafood—which I don’t like) but I do love pad Thai.

Ha! Fun fact—the name of the city I live in is Almaty, which is the Kazakh word for apple. So there are apple statues/fountains/accents around the city.

Thinking Mike and Poetry both seem like gentlemen!
Mike, good luck on the date. I’m sure you’ll do great!

I think the answer will be different for everyone. For example, none of my 3 daughters want to get married (or have kids), and I think that’s fine. For me the difference would be more symbolic. I would feel a sense of emotional security from someone making a huge commitment like that (assuming my partner takes marriage as seriously as I would).

Thinking why I was not informed of Mike's upcoming date with a Canadian gal ... and how did he cross the border??? Mike!
Are you dating a new lady?

Hi Poetry!
Thinking it’s 4:43am and I’m very glad I put a meal in the crockpot last night so that it’s ready to feed Mark when we get home. Cause I’m definitely too tired to cook! |

Sounds like you’re dating the wrong women. There are a lot of women who value loyalty. Maybe change your “type” and be open to dating ladies different from what you’d typically be drawn to.

Thinking it’s been an amazing week in Chiang Mai. Saw some beautiful temples, visited a Hmong village in the mountains, received a water blessing from a monk, pet some elephants, had lots of massages. Still, I’m ready to go home. And Mark will be here on Monday morning!

Having a lazy last day in Chiang Mai. Went for afternoon tea and shopping, then got a massage, now having dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant (had enough of Thai food!). The good thing about a solo trip is that you can do whatever you want!
