Roses are red Violets are blue If he's busy on Valentine's Day The side chick is you.
All my life I always said that if someone cheated on me I’d be out of there so fast. But the one time it happened (that I know of, anyway), guess who the bonehead was that believed everything he said and stuck around? Me. We were two years into the relationship and there were definite feelings involved (and a ring), and I wasn’t a strong enough person to just end things. That was 10+ years ago, and I’d like to think I’m much stronger than that now. While I do realize that some people really can change, I’m more in the “once a cheater, always a cheater” camp. |

I've been spring cleaning all day. Going through everything for donations. They came replaced all the smoke alarms and tomorrow I get the fridge my Dad bought me. I've never had a brand new fridge. Super excited.
Oooo, very cool, Gia! Congratulations! My apartment here in Kazakhstan is fully furnished, and my refrigerator is burgundy-colored with rhinestones! I know it sounds hideous but I think it's kinda sassy!
OT: Trying to plan my summer so I can buy all my flights. |

It's student-led conferences today, and right now I'm taking a break for some Starbucks iced coffee I had delivered.

Have you picked out your granny name yet? What will she call you? |

all of the things you describe are physical enhancements .
Wondering .. what you think (or assume) women mean when they say they want a “real man “ ???? I was about to say something similar. I don't think I've ever seen/heard a woman saying "I'm looking for a real man" who meant it in a way that implied she was looking for a man who didn't alter his physical appearance (egs. color his hair, get peck implants, fake tan, etc.). Nearly always she is refering to his character (saying that she wants a man who means what he says, has good character, treats his partner with respect, etc.). That said, I kind of think that the terms "real man" or "real woman" are kind of insubstantial, as different people are looking for different things. Maybe it's better to just specify what they are looking for that they are not finding. |

My favorite is Southeast Asia. Siem Reap or Bali are my favorites. You realize that Indonesia, and Bali being part of Indonesia, is becoming one of the most repressive countries in the world? I lived in Surabaya, Indonesia for two years (2017-2019). So I'm pretty familiar with it, yes. Still love Bali though. I've been there 9 times. |

It was good. My man was here visiting me in Kazakhstan a couple weeks ago. The last date we did was to the Brazilian Restaurant. We enjoy that place!

Does distance matters?

Heck yeah, it matters! It's not fun, not being able spend time together in person, not being able to reach out and touch your partner every day. It's not fun having to shell out $1300 for an airline ticket each time one of you flies to see the other. But sometimes you meet someone amazing online who happens to live very far away from you, and you form a connection. It happens, and if you both really want to make it work, you will. But I would not recommend intentionally seeking out an LDR.

Vaping vs. smoking
|
|
|
To me it's not necessarily the same. It could be, but not always. Some people are using them to help them quit smoking cigarettes, so they are inhaling a lot of vape. Others (like me) vape only occasionally, and purely for the fruity flavor, and not because they are necessarily looking for a hit of nicotine. A tasty and very low calorie way to satisfy an oral fixation. When I vape I do not inhale into my lungs. I just suck it into my mouth and blow it out. I like the fruity flavor and I like the feeling of it swirling around my mouth. Now, I'm fully aware that some residual vapor lingering in the air is going to get inadvertently inhaled by me, but it's a much smaller amount than if I intentionally inhaled it into my lungs. I definitely don't consider that the same as smoking cigarettes.

We all have to do what works for us. Religious differences would likely be a bigger issue for a person in their 20s who has never been married, as there may be obstacles that arise when it comes to child rearing. If that is not an issue, I think that religious difference can often be overcome by allowing each partner to worship/not worship as they see fit. If it's super important to you to have a partner attend church services/Bible study with you, then you're probably doing the right thing for you by only dating those of similar faith.
For me, it's not an issue. I believe in God, but I don't subscribe to any one religion. I think the Buddhist faith is most compatible with my own beliefs. As long as my partner is a good and kind, caring person I'm really not concerned with his religious beliefs. |

Biden reminds me of that movie called "Weekend at Bernies" where they propped up the dead guy and drug him around pretending he was alive. That's not too far off, actually.
