how to Trick or Treat without leaving the couch:
When my sons were young they would bring home their big bag of candy after trick or treating with my wife. As this was back in the poison/ razor bade scare days, I would have them empty the bag of candy on the parlor table so I could check the candy. ( which I did of course) I would then open and eat a few Milky Ways under the pretense of checking them for poison. I can still hear them saying " any poison in that one Dad!! to which I always answered "No, but let me check another".. which they would quickly give me. I got away with this for 2 years before my wife ratted me out. Lol For what its worth, they pull this stunt on their own kids now. |

well everybody, i am the wimp that has been beaten by females on a few occasions. I am the skinny guy that is the wimp. I do push ups when i can. Why does it matter when you are in your mid to upper 30's how strong you are when you work all the time and support yourself.I don't fight anyway if i was a bodybuilder. Then why do you put yourself in a situation to be beaten by the girls.. do you enjoy that?.. then if so, so be it I would tell you to order a blow up girl but I don't know if you would be strong enough to open the carton.. would be frustrating.. knowing she was in there and you couldn't get at her |

Yep,its baaaddd here in Cowtown (Calgary). A division of my Company is a supplier to the oil & gas industry..My customers are hurting bad.. Companies who had 12 installers for making up of panels are down to 1 or maybe 2 now.. some Companies have not ordered anything in months...they've let staff go; they've cancelled their Xmas parties;.. Vacancies? YEP, lots of empty buildings - lots of 'for lease', 'for sale' signs going up and price per square foot is dropping.. I happened to have walked by the unemployment office and there were long lines of applicants.. Seems like we're back to 1982 era We hope to weather the storm, as our Company is diversified and not just reliant on oil & gas.. and may I say, that Alberta's oil is not 'dirty oil' either.. The Companies are doing an awesome job to be environmentally friendly.. they just don't do a great job of raising awareness of what they do in that regard. Wow.. I had no idea it was that bad up there. It is a shame as I am sure most of those who are now without a job are in their 40's.. 50's..bad situation. I hope it gets better soon. |

I have been given the finger a few times while driving on the N.J. Turnpike.. Speaking of a payday, he'll probably make millions off of this.  I doubt it. Every woman he has been with in the last 5 years is going to file law suits against him and from what I have read that is in the hundreds. In the past week alone I read he has been with several different women. He has crisis management people working on overtime right now. I read where his net worth is $150 million.. that's not really a lot of money when you could be facing scores of lawsuits. Plus I am sure his career has taken a major hit now that he admitted it.. people will say it doesn't matter and they stand behind him in his fight and all that other PC stuff, but fact is, they don't even want to use the same bathroom he uses.. just won't say it in public. See how many people scatter when he sneezes now. That sucks, they were going to make a Major League 3 with Charlie Sheen's character to come out of retirement. I guess that's not going to happen now....  well, they better hurry up. |

Saw seven plain white/nondescript buses, rollin' southbound on hwy 75... Looked like middle easterners, in the two buses that I could see into. That's at least 350 refugees foisted on Texas in just the past 36 hours. No telling, how many more bus loads there have been. probably heading here to Houston... but no 7-11's here tho... I know of at least one 7/11 in Houston. It's my enroute stop for coca cola, on the way to Galveston from here. where at? i've never seen one south of centerville There's one about two blocks from the museum of fine arts. (That isn't the one I stop at.) Come to Jersey.. the 7-11 mother land.. B.O. & Cherry incense to go with the fossilized hot dogs. If your lucky, they have some of that New Delhi wooden hand clapper instrument thing music piping thru the place. |

Don't feel bad about getting a ticket, feel good you get the opportunity to help someone! It's like you never did anything wrong! Which will teach everyone not to do it again, or that doing illegal things isn't THAT bad. Can't wait for the campaign for mayor or whatever "vote for me! I gave over $150k to the local food bank, to help local families. I care about you!" At best all this does is prepare people for mandatory and compulsory "charity." I seriously doubt that they would consider DWI or driving 100 MPH thru a school zone or any other violation where you would have to stand before a judge as a candidate for this program. There is a laundry list of moving violations that would .. failure to use a turn signal. failure to come to a complete stop, failure to yield. ect, ect. |
