This article says it all. I didn't put it all in as its very long but this sums it up as to why young guys hit on older women.

The Truth about Older Women and Younger Men
by W.F. Price on December 21, 2012

Now that more money is in the hands of women and more men are hard up and without a job, it’s likely that there will be more older female/younger male couples. However, rather than true love relationships, many of these will likely be some sort of gigolo setup or outright fraud. Unfortunately, I think fraud will come to be more the norm, because it offends a woman’s pride to support a man, even when it would be fair of her to do so.

The number of lonely middle aged women is getting to that critical point where they will be seen as resources to enterprising young men who are down on their luck. Anecdotally, I’ve been hearing about this for some time, particularly in regards to men who set up internet dating accounts, only to discover that the majority of interested women are five to fifteen years older.

Anecdotal evidence off the internet. Gotta love it! Lol.

The truth is always somewhere in between. There are some that are scams and some that are not. Same as in any other kind of dating.

Looking at the half empty or half full side of the glass only limits you to a view of half of the glass. Just sayin'

This makes no sense to me. Are you saying that nice people can't be good or vice versa?

Someone acts nice to you, they are fake?

Wow.

All the attributes you list for good people can absolutely apply to nice people as well. Whoever wrote that just assigned some arbitrary qualities to "nice" and "good", basically making up their own definitions of the words.

I don't always agree with navygirl, but in this case I think she's bang on. People are people. Nice and good are labels put on them by others.

Or however those of you not from the US refer to hauling your own domicile along when traveling. ;-)

I must admit, I am mostly a tent camper, but in my, ahem, more mature years, I find out I'm starting to wimp out at the temp extremes. So, a few years ago I did give in and bought a smallish camper. I very much enjoyed it. In fact I enjoyed it so much I wrote a little song about it. I don't know how to put the music on paper, but here are the lyrics:

-----------
Here I sit at the dumping station
Just like the rest of the RV nation, buddy
I gotta lighten my load
Mosey on down the road

(refrain)
I don't need no motel
RV's don't ring my bell
Tents get hotter than hell!
I need a camper to tow
I need a camper to tow

I don't need a whole lot of money
To stay in the woods just me and my honey
Instead of hanging out in bars
Make out under the stars

(refrain)
I don't need no motel
RV's don't ring my bell
Tents get hotter than hell!
I need a camper to tow
Shoulda done it long time ago
I'd even take it to Tokio
Hitch it to the truck and go

I need a camper to tow!
--------

So, who on here enjoys it? I lost mine in the divorce, and I do miss it. More than my ex, lol.

Any good camper stories? ;-)

Actually, right before Christmas I got to go to a place I've wanted and planned to go all year... to see my daughter graduate. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I am extremely proud of her.

Lol, just stumbled onto this thread. Don't give up Blondey, there's still plenty of life left in this one... speaking from a strictly human perspective.

To those of you that think human life is immune to extinction, I have one word for you: entropy. It's just a universal physics thing you know, nothing special. ;-) Unless of course you think some supreme being exempt from that will keep humanity puttering along forever and ever... in which case I'll refer you to Blondey's new religion post. ;-)

But besides that, extincion events are all over the place. The dodo is extinct. It didn't morph into any other animal, it just ceased to be. There is a dodo no more.

We're messing with things never before possible on our little ole planet. We're very close to creating artificial black holes (yes, teeny tiny ones at the moment). The nuclear bombs we have today are orders of magnitude more powerful than the originals, and they can be made dirty to pretty much guarantee the extinction of human life. And the russians still have their doomsday system in place.

Human life is a fragile thing. If you think it's not apt to be destroyed, you're only fooling yourself.

That being said Blondey, how life goes on after human kind is extinct depends all too much on how human kind got to be extinct in the first place.

Nuclear holocaust. Probably still the most likely extinction event today. Worst case, a cluster of cobalt bombs (presumably never been built). The world coated with radioactive cobalt, the air poisoned. I'd venture that if humanity is extinct, most higher life forms will be also. Marine animals will be more protected hopefully. So my take on this is that dolphins will become the highest life form. Hopefully they'll manage the planet better than we did.

Virus. We're getting pretty good at making antivirals, but we're also getting pretty good at making weaponized viruses. Not much word gets out on those, but they're there. So say a live mutated weaponized virus escapes and there is no vaccine, with 100% mortality rate. Make it airborne, so it will spread around the globe... lovely thought. In this case, genetics will probably save most of other species. Our cousins (apes and whatnot) may or may not be affected, depends how the virus mutates. So in this case you could have a planet of the apes scenario.

But more to the point. The pyramids will continue to endure for a few more thousands of years. In some places, like Dubai for example, relics of the more modern human civilization will probably endure also. It's pretty dry there, and those skyscrapers were built to take tremendous loads. New York, London and others will become like the pyramids in central america, remains of buildings here and there covered with vegetation. Some curious ape explorers may wonder about those someday and muse about alien human visitors. ;-)

.

Muslim countries however, different story. Saudi Arabia still does beheadings I believe.

yes , i believe that saudi arabia is the main source of all nonsense and terrorism on this planet , they supply the global terror with everything it needs : money , arms , men and above all ... sick ideology .

I hear ya Fox. And in return we give them f16's and treat them like our dearest friend. ;-)

Isn't it still illegal for women to drive there? Although mind you, I see how that could be a lifesaver for some cases in the US. ;-)

Seems to me, the facebook girl has a crush on your current gf and posting all sorts of fantasy stuff from her discussions with your current gf. I don't know if I'd advise your current gf to stay away from her, but it definitely sounds like everyone involved should do that. I see trouble brewing there.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! surprised

Just kidding, but you're right, I think in all countries designated as primarily christian beheadings are no longer on the books... France I believe did the last one in 77.

Muslim countries however, different story. Saudi Arabia still does beheadings I believe. Ironically, the phrase capital offense is intimately linked with beheadings.

Btw, those commandments are not written in stone, they're more like written in cream cheese lol.

Welcome to the forum!

Succinct and to the point. I like it. :)

Btw, if you have more specific preferences, like age, marital status, etc, you may want to put those in your profile as well. And also set them in your mail preferences.

Happy hunting! Lol.

the term is to clique with someone, not click with someone. Spelling it phonetically as click suggests a freudian slip, where transient mood base is being used to select partners, such as whether you're sexually aroused in their presence.
If you spell it correctly as clique and use the term by its concise definition it means you select partners on the basis of whether their personality belongs in your social group.

Anyone experienced and aware in relationships has learned that compatability of mind is a better contributor than some allegorical sexual switch being thrown. In one case you become more attracted the more you get to know them, in the other case you become less attracted the more you get to know them even if it starts off fantastic.

So it really comes down to if you have any idea what you're talking about when you say "to click with someone" because actually, it's to clique with someone.

Connecting itself can mean no more than mutual physical attraction or coincidental arousal. Given the right circumstance I've connected with completely incompatable women one day, totally not understood each other the very next day. It's nothing more than a mood concidence. You can easily connect outside your clique.

Not to be pedantic Vanaheim, but there is a fitting dictionary definition for click:

Blondey, I don't think muslims have the exclusive on beheadings. Shoot, christians have been beheading christians (and worse) for thousands of years. I am really glad in a way that those nuts haven't discovered other more painful ways to execute, like burning at the stake for example. Beheadings, gruesome as they are, are some of the easier ways to be killed. Those guys were probably looking forward to it after the months and sometimes years of torture.

But say, can we get back to your religion? Sounds way more fun. happy

Not having been to any erm, mountains lately, nor visited any erm, burning bush, I'll just pretend I've had a grand revelation anyway and start writing down some necessary commandments:

1. There shall be more than one commandment

2. This religion is for entertaining purposes only

3. The official designated deities are Blondey and Fox. Worship for them is restricted to flowers and well wishes. No sacrifices of any kind!

4. No one is allowed to hurt anyone else in any way, save by clear and mutual consent, and then only for the explicit purpose of fun by all parties concerned.

5. Members are encouraged to participate in fun activities. Those not participating are apt to be punished by tickling until repentant.

6. Modesty is forgiven. Shame is prohibited. So are guilt, prejudice and hate.

...

Feel free to add. drinker

Welcome TrueRose. Like the teacher joke btw.

May I make a suggestion? Put the age range in big bold letters in your profile. I know you have it in your email settings, but on behalf of most of the guys on this planet, we tend to skip instructions lol. So putting that in more than one place may increase your chances to get the responses you want.

As to us old dudes, we are all totally decrepit, lecherous, mysogynistic so and so's. It's true! Just read the posts in the forums lol.

So, you're saying she had cybersex before she met you?

Well, I'd consider that a bonus, it's probably the safest sex you could have, unless you're "invaded" by North Korea hackers. ;-)

But honestly, it's a trust issue. If she's going to cheat on you cybersex is not the only option you know.

Do you consider watching porn cheating?
