if i'm reading, it's whatever's on my kindle.

kicking back with the kiddies...watching movies and eating ice cream. about to make some yummy nachos...teaching the teenagers how to make jewelry and giving them supplies and turning them loose...

wish i had some extra stuff for candles; i'd teach them that, too.

pretty cool day, all in all.

A narrow the focus down quiet kind of day?

Sounds brilliant Lori!...
exactly. i managed to have vacation the same time that they are on spring break...and i've sort of taken in one of caitlyn's best friends. it's an experience, lemme tell ya, lol.

went to a party on friday...bunch of people from high school that i haven't seen in twenty years. we've decided to rotate houses and do this every month. more fun than i'm used to.

that assumption seems to go along with what we're viewing at the time. when color television was invented, dreaming in many hues became the norm.

apparently, our culture influences how we dream.

that's what we learned in shrink-class, anyhow...

i believe in natural consequences and consistent discipline. at no time would i ever raise a hand to my children. i can't strike an adult, so why can i strike someone who can't defend themselves?

i think it's the consistency that matters the most. it's also letting the child know ahead of time what's acceptable behavior and what is not. it's also being involved...spending time with the kids.

i was only spanked a few times in my life before my mother became a psychologist and quit that. i still feel...a sense of anger over it, however. the fact that someone could put their hands on me without my consent...just goes all over me.

there are also studies that show correlation between women who were spanked and domestic violence as adults.

i do like cucumber, tomato, mayo, and sprout sandwiches on multi-grain bread.

yumminess.

the weirdest thing i eat is pizza topped with jalapenos, green olives, and pineapple. the sweet, spicy, and salty/sour really complement each other.

i am also a complete vegetarian...and "slip" isn't even an option. my stomach turns just thinking about it.

You never show up in your own searches, as the system doesn't feel that you'll make a good partner for yourself. However, if someone else were to search your parameters, you'd be there.

I personally can attest that having the premium membership has dramatically increased my views and emails.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Be well,

i think that we should take anything needed from the deceased...once they are dead, they can't use it anyway.

from the living, no. there could be complications from the surgery and whatnot...and i wouldn't consider it ethical. i wouldn't have a problem with offering them some sort of tax break or something, though...

i've never heard anything about regular milk, but i have heard that breast milk can help cure it.

seems the antibodies in breast milk can help. a few drops in each eye every couple hour, according to the natural family forum i'm a member of.

he also believes that all special-needs people should be put down. guess why i don't let him near my kids, uncle or not?

What is pro-life or pro-abortion has anything to do with religion?

Is this the Twilight Zone or what?

If someone is pro-life, why would it mean automatically that he or she must be religious?

Can I be pro-life without being religious, just because I like living things?

It's amazing how people get branded left and right,

Example:

Pro-Life = must be religious
Anti-Obama = must be a republican
Anti-Bush = must be a democrat
pro-abortion = must be liberal

Is this really how you people think? Because if it is, I can only feel sorry for you and I can almost congratulate the propaganda makers out there how easily they can sway you all around, any direction they want to, because you are too naive and underducated.

I know no one that is "pro-abortion"...but if that's the term then I guess that makes RW baggers as "anti-Constitution". The ruling stands...killing doctors is a terrorist act and no different than Muslim extremists.

IF abortion is outlawed the rich will go to countries that perform them and the poor will suffer bad medicine, there's no easy solution except attempting prevention. Half of all unwanted teen pregnancies happen while one of the kids is drunk...why don't people shoot at Anhauser Busch instead? Many unwanted pregnancies are the result of "Abstinence Only" programs...another flawed ideological gift we were given during the Dippic years. Thumpers shot themselves in the foot on that one.

my brother-in-law is pro-abortion.

he believes that anyone that makes less than forty thousand should have a forced abortion, and anyone that is pregnant with more than two should, as well.

he's very forceful about this, and screamed it in my face while i was seven months pregnant.

--------------------------

i am pro-life on all levels, even to being a vegetarian. i do NOT condone the murder of this man (although, i admit that i personally won't miss his presence). murder is wrong, period. what happened to him and his family was atrocious.
