Can you change the oil in your car? or do you let the deaker or a Jiffy lube type place do it . Do you trust them ?

I can damn near build a car from the ground up lol so yeah I change my own

I only have my son work on my car. He is a mechanic that saves me lots o money!!! And yes, I trust him!

Can you change the oil in your car? or do you let the deaker or a Jiffy lube type place do it . Do you trust them ? Depends on which ones you go to. Any time they recommend something though, I tend to just tell them to add it to the list then refer it to my mechanic.

I take mine to the shop because I don't have any tools to do it myself, and I live in an apartment and management doesn't like it when you work on your car in the parking lot here.

I have done it..Ive replaced parts in my car also...but I prefer to have it done...
