Sure...you have to care to be hurt and it can be forgiven.

It depends, maybe it wasn't intentional. But if it was, I would talk it out with them and then go from there.

I agree, its been done to me, i dont forget, but i forgive, ONCE, if theyre not willing to compromise, then never again do you give them another chance

depends on the situation. if it was just because i was oversensitive then it wouldn't affect my feelings. on the other hand if it was just plain mean it would.

It depends on the circumstances...even the people who love us most sometimes hurt our feelings...

Depends on the situation and the "level of hurt."

If it was a remark or action when we're together I usually call him on it immediately. No drama, just a "Hey, that was a hurtful thing to say," or , "You know, hun, that hurt my feelings." He's usually stunned, cause it's rarely intentional, but then we talk about it and work through it. Sometimes I just took what he said wrong, so we talk to avoid the whole "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" communication trap. That helps me feel better about expressing myself, clears up any misunderstandings, and he doesn't have to be a mind reader!

But if he keeps doing it ~ that's a whole different thing!

You said " like ". To like is different from " to love ".
So it all depends on what it is and how big the wound is .

There are those times though when the hurt goes too deep...case in point, (the little man). And it is during those times when you realize you love yourself too much to allow yourself to be hurt in such a manner by others. Make sense? flowerforyou
