Ok, so I've been talking to someone here for about 2 weeks now or so, maybe a little more even. We get along great, and I feel there's a bit of a connection between us, despite a few things we may not neccessarily see eye to eye on as it were. She lives somewhat close, and was looking into meeting her before the summer was over and seeing what happened.
Only thing is I'm not totally sure I'm ready to commit myself to this right now. See had saw this girl at the track recently, and thought she was kind of cute. I've talked to her a little bit since then, but not much just brief conversation a couple of days ago when she'd pass me on the track. I kind of was looking at asking her out for coffee or something one of these days, just to see what would come of it. So I'm kind of torn as to what to do here. Any thoughts? |

Just date right now. There's no need to commit to just one person unless that is what you want to do.

You will not know how you feel about either one if you don't investigate your feelings. Ask one out, get to know her and then if you feel a connection, you will not likely be interested in the other. If you are still interested in the other gal...then it's not that great of a connection and probably not meant to be anyway. But you have to try.

I've noticed your posts over the last few months and it seems that every time you start "talking to someone" you start obsessing over whether or not you're ready to commit... you're thinking about your ex... lalala
I'm thinking maybe you're just too dependent on wanting to be in a relationship and you're not enjoying a woman's company for just what it is... a nice date... or a nice phone call. You should at least meet the person and hang out with them a few times before you even establish whether or not you might be interested in dating them exclusively, and don't rush anything. Just breathe and enjoy their company. |
