Female Gamers? Are they a Myth?
The fact of the matter is no. I know afew personally! I've been beat into the ground by afew of the more famous girl gamer groups too on Xbox playing BF2MC, CoD4, Halo3 and what a pleasurable beating it was I might add. |

Many years ago I played Tribes 2 in tourneys with a clan and we had two female members who were SMOKING hot (they were always in the heavy suits and were dead accurate with those mortars).
Sadly I lost touch with them after we all disbanded :( |

I love gaming. I don't feel I'm so much as "alone" in my passion for them, but it's weird as hell when I go into a gaming center and I'm the only girl in there who's not someone's mom picking up her son. I get stares like I'm not even human.

I would never call myself a gamer, even if i was one. I would certainly never describe myself as a hardcore gamer. It just sounds pretty sad to me. Id be less embarrased to say i was a hardcore midget porn lover. There are probably some girls that like hardcore midget porn as well. |

I play Zelda and Fable II. I have a Nintendo 64 and X-box 360 but I go through fazes. I will play frantically for a month or so and then I leave it for a while. I have been on hiatus since February or so, I was playing Majora's Mask.

I like games I use to play FFXI Online, but play Perfect World on occasion, games on PS2 like the Resident Evil series, Final Fantasy X, Silent Hill, Guitar Hero 2, 3, and Metallica. There's a lot of others but it's hard to name them all.

My son plays World of Warcraft and 2 of his best friends are girls-both VERY nice looking college girls.

This 17 year old lady that plays battlefield 2142...Choppergirl. That lady can really kick serious butt. She has personally killed me over two dozen times.....women can be scary in wargames.
 I also have been playing MW4 for 6 years, and know a lot of female mechjockeys.....they can be pretty mean too. |
