america does have some arrogances (whether rightly so or not) but IF the OP is correct (which I haven't found yet) a president going to other countries and apologizing for our soldiers fighting in wars?

I find it annoying that I can't find the exact text from that speech but I have found clips obviously cut to make it sound as bad as possible.

I have also found in searching that the statements were being directed toward actions taken in the last eight years and were followed by statements saying that Europe held equal blame because of their attitudes toward Americans.

I have fewer problems with his statements having learned what I have, though I still believe they were in poor taste and showed bad judgment. It could have been handled without deriding the whole of the US.

i agree davey...i think he could have said it a different way...but i suspected it wasn't as the OP stated. I was trying to find out before slamming my gavel.

This liberal non sense has to stop.I suppose we should apologize to France and Britain for saving their butts during World war 2 which they surely would have lost. How about Korea?Maybe we need to apologize to Saudi arabia and the people on behalf of the soldiers who died for them so they could be free.

We can also apologize to the Nazi party and Japan for getting in their way to take over the world.Lets apologize to Germany for us screwing up their master plan of Jewish extermination.I could go on and on.

We owe nobody an apology epically to those 3rd world Muslim countries who work day and night to wipe us off the face of the earth. They should be bowing to us.We are the best country on this earth and always will be.That is why millions of people risk death, mutilation, and imprisonment to come here.

Anyone want to impeach this clown sign me up.

This page takes those comments and gives the context for them. They are not as bad as many have claimed them to be.

We have been arrogant. No matter how much we have supported others it does not excuse the recent arrogance we have shown

Except for the direct quotes from the different detractors it does not include whole quotes. It's just more clips and as for clips I've found better including direct excerpts on youtube of the speech. Unfortunately I can't find a copy of the entire speech where I can determine for myself what was said.

Rose facts are facts. We can throw out what this topic out the window and it still wouldn't change the fact that he did bow down to the Saudi king and he has been apologizing to other nations for what we have done.He is also treating terrorist like they are the same as Americans and even going so far as demanding that they get trails with taxpayer paid lawyers.I have watched and listed to Obama from the start of his campaign 2 years before he was even elected.I know how he thinks. He doesn't give a damn about America, and that is why he refused to wear a US flag pin on his jacket while he was campaigning. He constantly sees America and broken and rarely ever says anything good about it.

I shrudder to think what would have happened if 9/11 happened under Obama. He probably would have given a speech saying we deserved it and that the terrorist are misunderstood.

Thomas...they aren't complete facts....just bits and pieces and not the whole story

I'm not thrilled with Obama (or many other politicians for that matter) but it WAS taken out of context and the OP did a poor/slanted job IMO.

read what Davey said Hon

I saw him speak and he only said good things about us.

You know how he thinks? Then you have ESP or something.

You even know what he would have done on 9/11. lol
