I would love to meet the people behind the computers...not many in my area. I have met one person on here. I don't see a lot of local people in the forums.. Not many here either. Don't see many from where I moving to...but I still have fun here, just don't look at it as a dating site. More of a place to chat and meet people from all over.

Just like in "real life" there are phonies, game players and users. Just enjoy this site for communication with people and you won't be disappointed. If someone happens along all the better, if not what oh well,at least ya got some friends out of the deal, capice?

i've met a lot of really good people on the site it is too bad they live so far away--would be nice to be able to meet for coffee or lunch--but since we can't we will chat this way--i'm enjoying meeting people from all over the country.

I've been here - off and on - for 2 years. I've come here with a broken heart, near suicidal from the side effects of medication, and recovering from serious motorcycle wrecks. There are many, many good people on here - just gotta stay here long enough to find 'em and, if they ain't in the forums, it's a long-shot gamble they're real. The fakes fade away.

I think the majority of the people on her are "real" or "genuine" but there are also the "players" who are out to use people. You have to be really careful and go really slow with anyone you talk to, there certainly are scammers around. I have been on this site 3 years this month and have made some fabulous friends, have been played by a few not so nice people, but for the most part, I like this place and come here to talk to my friends daily. You should go out into the forums and post and meet some of the regulars, make some friends that way. Welcome. Hey m55--Hot here today --you got it right with your post. Hope she listens--

I'm pretty new here too and thought the same thing. I'm real and have met a lot of other " real" people. I'm newer than you are and I'm real. I figger if I wasn't the gov't wouldn't be sending me a retirement check each month...but then... who knows about the gov't huh? Just pinched myself and it hurt so guess I'm real too.

I'm real.. Been here almost 2 yrs now..Lost my husband and mom within a short period of time..I was on the verge of a breakdown.. Met some really nice people here and they helped me get thru all of that..thanks

I've only met a couple knobs in all of this place---and that was in the political forum! -- It's just people trying to "hook" up---amd have some fun. Were not changing the world. Relax and have a good time.

I think most of us, that hang out here, are GREAT people. Different walks of life, different countries. But BOTTOM LINE, just people doing our own thing & enjoying life the best we can. Isn't that what life is really all about?
