I'm a hopeless romantic but the concept of there being just "one" somewhere for all of us seems too much the stuff of man rather than one of God's practical jokes! I've been with two women that I truly thought were soul mates...and they thought the same of me. Perhaps - just perhaps - we make too big a deal out of finding "the" one. I do know...and believe in the laws of attraction...and the energy that flows from you - positive or negative - draws others like a magnet. Get your heart, mind and soul together...and the positive forces that flow...will allow you to find someone who is a soulmate. Does it matter so much if he or she is the only one...if you find happiness? I choose to be positive...I will find another of my soul mates. Wise words...I have been through many. I know this time, that I am done! We are both fighters and I think we are the same in knowing that we will never give up on each other. |

I believe there is "One" ,Untill we've experienced heartache and pain time n time again with a few there no knowing if it'll be another or indeed you.
I think it's when finally we can't feel any pain with someone and they listen as well as speak or can't get one mear kiss from her tender lips subsided from our thoughts for hours or weeks . Or feeling them in heart when your apart not being able to image any kind of possible future without . It's when your with the one and you know that you may easily grow together . Just that feeling of knowing you really belong together. Weve had a few or many we have wander of what may be but how can we tell untill we meet and see . However yes there's the one out there for you and everyone well for me I live hopefully . Tbc ;-) |

We have many soulmates, probably millions, don't believe the myths. You have lots of soulmates, maybe white, black, hispanic, asian, indian, polynesian, arabic, or whatever. What is true is that nothing lasts forever, but you can always make it last as long as you can.  I sure would like to know where you get your reference material!

I used to believe that too, then when i wasn't looking or expecting it, BAM!!!!! there it was, and right now i cannot see my life without her, even though its only been a little over a week

i just don't think they exist although i wish they did funny how so many people are searching for the "one" that tells me not that many people are finding the "one"  a lot of ones

The ONE is not out there what is out there are people just the same as you and me plenty of faults but good points to if your waiting for the perfect ONE you will be waiting all your life. Anna x

I actually think there are probably many that could be the person I chose to be with and love exclusively and would hopefully think likewise about me so the idea of only one seems rather limiting. Michigan man comes closest with the idea of being the one because it is really more about what each side brings to the union to make it great than either side. Yes I have preferences but it has changed as my life experiences have developed me so the person that might have been perfect thirty years ago probably would not really interest me now.
