Does love come twice in life? I mean does anyone else feel like once you have loved and lost you become incapable of love again? Even if you find that special someone it just kinda is never the same again? Is it me or does a long term relatioship that doesn't work out leave you not willing to take any crap anymore? I have met wonderful people and I have no explanation why i can not commit to them????? I say I want commitment, I think I want commitment until it's time to commit then I find resons to run for the hills????? Does anyone else have this fear of the routine bullcrap life to nowhere????? Do you get bored with someone quickly????

I do get bored quickly

I also always look for something wrong with them....nit pick so to speak. Especially when they seem to good to be true. Can't help it. I've been burned one too many times....that it almost is natural.

I ve been told I am too picky.

I don't think its a fear of commitment. I think it is a fear of settling.

Once you find the right one or at least the one you think is right you will settle down.

Their are no guarantees in life. Life is what you make of it.

I believe that love is like raindrops, it never duplicates itself. Each time we love it is unique but still just as beautiful as the last.

Coming from the Mile-High city, allow me to tweak your comment. Love is like snow-flakes, no two are ever alike. Both beautiful and flourish into their own unique crystalline form, but different nonetheless. And there are not only two, there are as many forms of love, good or bad, as snowflakes falling in the sky. What I am trying to say is that do not compare your new love to your last love, it would be like trying to compare two snowflakes, impossible.

I was in a 26 yr marriage,divorced now 4 yrs.Can love happens,yes!!! and commitment,yes.When in a relationship and it's moving tward commitment.
I have some thing to share my grandfather told me before I was married.

"When you feel you have found your life mate, ask yourself this.Everytime you see this person, even if your so mad at them for the day or you hurt inside, because you felt they did something wrong. And you have that look of hurt on your face.....Does your heart feel full, does your heart smile that you love?......if you can answer yes honesty.you truly have found your mate for life."

I will live with that advice always.... wish I would of listen.

Sure you can love many times in your lifetime. What you are probably experiencing is no chemistry with the people you are dating. You can't force it and if you do, you will come off looking as desperate.

I believe when you stop looking is when you find what you are looking for or it finds you. Just let what happens happen.

Let's see...lot of questions or statements!

Yes; No; No; Well, it's not me...must be you; I cannot explain it either; In that case, Good to live near hills; No fear; No...but occasionally I'm tested! laugh

Seriously, I was married for 35 years...and until the last five years it was a loving relationship. I met Susan after my divorce and fell so deeply in love...It is sweeter, better the second time for me...but maybe that's because I know me better. We're all different...and everything that we experience shapes us. Good luck in your relationships!

Love is delayed after major breakups, usually about five years.
Other than that it comes about every three years if you are heart whole and available.
Relax Ron, don't push yourself and enjoy the ride.
