I just love men who are capable...yes of fixing a car...installing a dishwasher...working with wood...etc etc etc! Lets hear it for those CAPABLE guys outh there that can make or fix just about anything!

...but do capable men like capable women???

Hell, yeah.

Less stuff they ask me to do.

And then, when I need a hand with something....

I probably shouldn't say this...BUT...sometimes not having a man is a good thing. I have learned how to do many things on my own because I had to. It gives me even more independence and confidence in myself because I don't have to depend on someone else. Don't get me wrong, at times it is nice to have someone to do these things for you once in awhile, but it's always nice to learn what you can do on your own when you try.

One of my biggest turn-ons is a woman who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty once in a while and has no problem learning how to get it done!

I check my own oil, trans fluis, etc. I did make the mistake once of putting transmission fluid where the brake fluid goes..oops...lesson learned, won't do that again. I do enjoy learning how to do things for myself.

shocked sad Definantly not good mixing fluids. Especially brakes! I remember a car coming into the shop in '94. A guy put oil in instead of brake fluid. Was good for me, but he wasn't happy with the roughly $1000 bill to fix it. Turned out he was a rocket scientist or aerospace engineer or something like that!!!!!

 Yeah..I was fortunate enough that my stepdad was able to fix it for me. Other than that, I try to do everything myself.

I'm a firm believer that anybody is capable of anything if they try hard enough and that everybody shouldn't HAVE to depend on others, so kudos to you!

Common all you MR. FIXITS...Take a bow!

I build, improve and repair things nearly all day, everyday. I came up through the construction trades and now I'm self employed with a sterling reputation and plenty of work, even during this "slow-down".

It's nice to get kudos but I can't say that being "handy" has really made a difference in my personal romantic life.ohwell

I love a capable man who can plan a get-away or sneak around and make something eventful. Like a picnic on a rooftop. Someone who is good at planning and receiving little special moments.

To me, there is nothing sexier than a woman who can fix anything: Grease up a harvest combine for the season, repair a windmill, IPO an IBM mainframe.

It started so innocently... First I just liked the looks of women behind the steering wheel. I found them forty percent sexier when they were driving. Then in the summer of '69, I saw for the first time a woman drive a stickshift car... ohh. Then came the female truck-drivers, taxi drivers and postwomen.

Now I need my two hits a day of female mechanics, photoshop processors, or electricians.

Woot. It's nice to know there are people out there that still appreciate this kinda work... LOL

I have always done everything on my own.

here's a small example. Nothing like rocket science but some simple "industrial" if you will style shelving I built

and the hard wood floors I installed myself.

It's unfortunate that most people my age and younger no longer want to know any of these skills.

I was always raised with the mentality that if it's broke fix it... LOL

i like to work along side a man. Nothing more fun than swinging a hammer next to a man. and i have found most guys think a woman who can drywall, tape, texture, roof, put in a wood floor, dig 42" inch holes with an auger are kinda hot...so ive been toled.
