Oh you didn't know about the tire inflation with starter fluid!

yep!... spray the starter fluid inside rim and out.... make a trail (it's safer) and light! bigsmile

That's not fun that way. I used to kill hornet nests by any sort of gas driven spray (alcohol based the best) and I would flamethrower them..and then kinda almost turn the house on fire at the same. But who cares about the house when you want hornets dead and you got a home made flamethrower? pitchfork

Ok..retitle this response "Inside of the mind of a pyromaniac"
laugh bigsmile

Gun to my head I could MAYBE do SOME of the things that I have relied on men in my life to do. But, I would miss out on seeing him with his toolbelt and wiping the sweat from his brow with his forearm and acting like he's going into battle. Men are built, think, smell differently than women and I choose not to de-ball them as society seems to want to do.smitten

Boy, there certainly a whole lot of helpless lazy women on here aren't there (ahem- this is a joke for those of you with no sense of humour)

(or is it a joke, I don't know, now that I look at it)

(Oh yes it is just a joke, don't go all crazy a$$ on me)

I tend to like guys who can fix things not because I necessarily want things fixed but because they are problem solvers. Useually the really good ones are smart enough to step back assess things then work them out systematically with out drama. That tends to be a good skill set in a day to day relationship.

I also find a capable man to be VERY sexy. POWER TOOLS RULE!! But I must say they rule just as cool when I use them myself. Not as fun but the job still gets done! Also like a man who knows I can do it too so why not do it together...and then there are the men who know you can do it better and let you, and the times you let him for the same reason...all that give and take...let the roles be ( I wanna say slippery but afraid where that might lead) so let the roles be flexible, he/she who can does! And together is best.

Well said - I've heard this from a couple of friends of mine.
(I like the "without drama" part:).

Another thing that is key is "thinking ahead" a couple of steps
in the process - there's nothing worse than thinking "I'll to this,
then that" and discover you shouldn't have done "this" first :)

Same goes with relationships!

Being able to do it when you have to and enjoying the toolbelt show while supporting your man are two different things (the latter requires that you HAVE a man around, however...)

Katz is one smart cookie! Luv ya sista!

bigsmile I for one don't want to learn...I WOULD MUCH RATHER WATCH!

I want to watch and do and be able to do alone if there isn't a man to watch....I love capable men but also love being capable myself! I recently switched out a light fixture with only guidance... I was scared but DID IT. First electricity I have ever done beyond changing a bulb!! I do love a capable man.....but....don't want to have to be defendant on one. Ahhh, maybe cause I don't have one and am jealous of those of you who do....bring on the sweaty, tool belt wearing, 'honey do' and watch me go bake something as a treat...LOL - gosh life is complicated! YEA!!!!!
