What do you think the biggest problem is when it comes to meeting someone out there in the real world?

Do you think the trouble is something you're doing or not doing?

Do you think there's something wrong with the opposite sex?

For me, it's lack of social circle.

With me it is pretty simple if you don't get out much and interact with others then your not going to get dates very often. Whether it be going to a sports bar, Restaurant, movies ect by your self or with friends it is really hard to expect to be asked out for a date. Believe me they don't just come knocking at your door. whoa

I think my main problem is that I work 8-12 hours a day 6-7 days a week. When I do manage to get any time off, I'm usually too tired to do anything anyway.

For me, there are several major issues:

1.) I live in a place where I don't know anyone, and the populace here, as far as I can tell, seems to have a deep-rooted disdain for "outsiders."

2.) I'm not the most outgoing person in the world, and it's difficult for me to meet people even under better conditions than I'm in now.

3.) There just isn't anybody who interests me or who I find attractive at the moment.

Do you think the trouble is something you're doing or not doing?

Well, sure, to some extent. After my car accident, I moved to the wrong area. That's one thing. As far as the actual process of meeting people is concerned, I'm not really sure what else I can do, other than try on line.

Do you think there's something wrong with the opposite sex?

Not in toto, no. I think a lot of them have very regimented, socio-inertia-based standards as far as what they're "looking for" is concerned.

I feel that there is something to being part of a 'group' of people, even if it is only two or three. I know that I would much rather be 'out' with a group of freinds than just on my own. There's something about that person alone that says "I can't get along with anyone so i am here like a preditor trying to find my next victom". It might just be me, but I like to see how someone interacts with their freinds, I think it tells me a lot about somone's personallity, without actually having to "be on a date". It also removes most of the pressure involved with trying to impress someone. Much to be said for just beeing yourself. I'm certainthat I'm not the only one who has figured this out! spock
