What do you think the biggest problem is when it comes to meeting someone out there in the real world?

Do you think the trouble is something you're doing or not doing?

Do you think there's something wrong with the opposite sex?

Alittle bit of both

The biggest problem for them is that they have'nt met me yet. I'm fun and intellectually and emotionally stimulating.

The problem for me is staying interested in somebody. If they are being themselves, that's a big plus. I avoid fake or pleasing personalities and I'm starting to see those more.

for me, its pickiness and being extremely self conscience about wasting time(mine or others)

Im stuck in a pickle,,,, I dont believe in casual sex, which is pretty much an expected part of casual dating nowadays,, but I dont know the proper time or place or way to let that be known to a 'potential' date

I am also in no rush to be married again,,,something else I dont know how or when to express

which leaves me hesitant to waste the time any man seeking EITHER a wife or a sexual conquest and not really interested in anything in between

Today I was having lunch at a sandwich shop and while I was there 5 guys came through. Three firemen, a construction worker and a guy who looked like he just got back from the beach. All of them approximately my age and decent looking. Every single one of them had a ring on their finger except one.

So, I watch him for about a minute until he starts berating the poor girl making his sandwich for not having any of the sauce he likes.

So, going by today alone I would have to say the problem is that the guys around here are married or an azzhole.

Or I have "FREAK" tattooed across my forehead and no one is going to come near me.

I have been judged and ruled out before the dates. Really.

2 types of women I find lately :

1. Really serious about having a relationship. If there is a hickup about my profile or just chatting or mailing they find a small detail they don't like, they won't even go out for 1 date.

2. Women who are not serious at all. They are out for an ego boost. So while they email and even chat, they would avoid to go on a date.

What is missing:

Casual dater, who are not looking at me as a job resume and far more open minded so they see a date as a fun time hanging out and no harm could really happen , even if we never see each other again.

Okay, there's one man and one woman in favor of casual dating (no commitment, no sex), I'll throw my vote in favor of it. How do the rest of you vote?

Commitment dating?
Casual dating?
Sex dating?

So far it's casual dating, 3-0.

Hmm, I will go with option 2; something wrong with the opposite sex.

From a mans standpoint, sometimes the man tries to hard and pushes the woman away. I have seen that many a time.
