I think you could find a man to just be friends with, hang out with, it does not mean that he does not want sex with the "right" woman when he fines her. Do you mean you want someone that is celibate?

Having a man-friend instead of something more is like buying a set a of tools and never using them. No point in buying the Craftsman if you're not gonna use it.laugh

Sadly, I get more out of the tools, and less out of the "tools".

Still trying to figure out what the drill press is for, however. :-P

Personally, I find it pretty pathetic if you can't just be friends with a member of the opposite sex. I mean, just because they are of the opposite sex, that means you can't simply see them as a person, and you HAVE to involve sex in your realtionship with them? whoa yawn

My straight answer to u is yes.. its possible. If the man is actually Gay.

More in depth explaination:

searching someone to go out and have fun with (nothing serious) and

Lets analyze this a bit.. shall we?

There is 3 points in this phrase which leads to emotional feelings with final destination*...sex

1... Go out...

When a woman go out with man who just met recently, ofc doesnt mean will have sex that night or even in the near future. But... on the long run there is the possibilty. The men hold to that possibility and if they arnt mature enough they ask for it too early.

2... Have fun

When a woman say to man.."lets go out to have some fun".. ofc doesnt mean that will have sex in the WC of a bar or something.. but in the long run brings again the possiblity of sex. For example... at the end of a good night the mode of women can change to more positive sometimes. Men again hold on to this.

3... Nothing serious

For a man having sex isnt something serious. Making love it is serious but is deferent from sex. So again, "nothing serious" received by men like more chances to have sex with the women sooner than they expected.

*final destination = sooner or later

----------------------------------------------

The conclusion is that this phrase basically.. ASKS for sex. Agree or Desagree this is how the MAJORITY of males received it.

So...u have to change the way u say things to men. U have to understand how men thinks and avoid the "word traps".

From my personal experience.. usually women know what men want... but in this case i doubt it.

If u looking only for a pure friendship with NO CHANCE of sex...then u should look for other women. Its more safer road.

this is a real great explanation...convoluted words do indeed become word traps..also, I agree with the guy having to be gay to be that person, i know of no such straight male friends that would fit the above description unless he wanted money from her and if she was just plain ugly

Have to disagree here. I've got several guy friends who aren't gay, but despite what they joke about, aren't ever going beyond friendship. They're younger then me, and they know right off I won't date them. Jokes aside, no means no.

A man that doesn't want sex?
I swear men just can't freaking win. If they want sex, then that's all they are after, if they don't want it or don't initiate it then they are homosexual and or don't find the woman sexy or appealing. No matter there is "something" wrong with them if they don't.

Just because a man wants it doesn't mean he should get it. Why must some look at a man's sexual urges as a bad thing? Personally I find it rather humorous and to some degree admirable. I mean there are worse things to be getting on with. If sex is the worst thing a person can think to do then these world would be a much better place. Perhaps more populated, not much getting done, but better.

Forgive me, rant over.

Yes you can find such a thing for I already have here at Mingle2 and I have been here what a month? And there are still other men in which I fully intend to share some time with without any expectations whatsoever. If those men should have some expectations and or a hidden agenda, that's their problem not mine.

I just think it boils down to our attitudes we march in with and what we are or are not "expecting".flowerforyou
