It's been my experance that about 99 times out of 100 you absolutly can judge a book by it's cover. Junkies look like junkies, hookers look like hookers and bankers look like bankers. There are exceptions, but most of the time the rule holds true.

Probably helpful if you are looking for a banker...........smokin

or a hooker, unless the hooker dressed like a banker....

I await the return of parachute pants!

I literally saw a pic in a fashion mag the other day of a model with her jeans PEGGED! Remember that?
**oh groan, please don't come back in fashion pegged pants**

My fashion sense is business casual with comfortable shoes. Jeans and T's are fine for being incognito and blending into the human landscape.
BTW I've been known to peg the right leg of my sweatpants so they don't get caught in the chain of my mountain bike.

Fashion is constantly evolving back to some of the styles of yester-year into today's era. i.e. platforms, wide-legged pants, etc.......

However, not every style is complimentary to all.

This is true. That's why it's important to understand what works on your body.

However, there are some styles that will never go out.

I remember the preppy guys did something similar back in the 80's, and they also wore the sweaters drape over there shoulders.

The preppy look isn't all bad. In fact, it's another timeless look when done right.

I like the RayBan Wayfarers but the rest looks like a thrift store ensemble although the designer labels would put it over $500
Maybe if the sweater was a dark blue cable knit merino wool it would work for me.

80's Rob Lowe or James Spader are prime examples of this.
