The preppy look isn't all bad. In fact, it's another timeless look when done right.  I like the RayBan Wayfarers but the rest looks like a thrift store ensemble although the designer labels would put it over $500 Maybe if the sweater was a dark blue cable knit merino wool it would work for me. Prehaps you didn't recognize the man in the photo. It's JFK. It doesn't get more preppy than this. |

The preppy look isn't all bad. In fact, it's another timeless look when done right. Eww! Preppy is a horrible look! Even JFK looks like a dbag! I kind of think preppy went out in the 80's, right? Men and women’s preppy fashion was and IS tragic!  I love the SoCal/surfer/rocker/skater look for guys and most runway looks for girls. I love Ashton Kutcher's style; he goes from trucker hat or skull beanie with jeans and a tee-shirt to an Armani suite so well!! Oh, Justin Timberlake is another great style watch dresser for men!! Perfection!! For women, I like Cameron Diaz, Jenn Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow. They are all very stylish.  |

I think he does the casual thing pretty well, but he looks a little uncomfortable in the suits. And, that's NOT how you wear a bow tie.
And the preppy look is still alive and well.

How much effort do you put into dressing well? So much, that to avoid to stick out in Walmart, I consider wearing stuff that I would never wear otherwise. Blend in, or otherwise they think the Mafia is taking a visit.

I await the return of parachute pants! I literally saw a pic in a fashion mag the other day of a model with her jeans PEGGED! Remember that? **oh groan, please don't come back in fashion pegged pants** I remember the preppy guys did something similar back in the 80's, and they also wore the sweaters drape over there shoulders. 80's Rob Lowe or James Spader are prime examples of this. Yes. I`m quite fashionable in my bluejeans, rock t-shirts, and tennis shoes.  If that ain`t quite fashionable for ya, I don`t know what to tell you.   In fact, this is my centerfold picture. I am not fashionable, I like white tee shirts because I don't even have to think about what I am going to wear. I care more about how I look naked than how I look with chothing on.

No, I would not describe myself as stylish.
I worry about being clean and not too wrinkled most of the time. When I go out I shine up like a new penny but outside of that jeans, shorts, stretch pants and tee shirts most of the time. |
