When Jesus spoke, alot of times he spoke in parables yes. But his crucifixion could not have been him speaking for he was the one being crucified and not speaking of it. And i'm not preaching my friend, merely discussing. This is a discussion forum not a preaching tabloid.

not a preaching tabloid?.... you said that you were here to spread the word...was that a lie a metaphor or the truth?

spreading the word through discussion.

then that mean that to you it is a preaching tabloid? ...see how you just can't tell the truth with metaphors

Preaching would be through a sermon. We are merely discussing the bible and or various parts of the word.

No, preaching isn't a discussion, it is merely one person spreading the word of God. Here on this forum, we DISCUSS what is in the bible, it's not merely dominated by one person spreading the word of God. If I say something wrong and or there's something i do not know about, someone else can infer on it for me. Thus i'm learning as well as spreading and teaching thus not "preaching" for preaching is again a dominated speech by one person telling of the word of our father, not discussing it.

well so far whatever you call what you are doing in Mingles2 it's clearly not spreading the truth ..

but anyway my aim was to get you to admit that people do die

I admitted to it a looooooong time ago, many moons ago. And I also said that's why it's usually referred to as a "second" death when you've not received the gift of heaven. No that terminology isn't in the bible, but it's a good way to explain it.

Jeez see how you lie....now you want to claim that you admitted that people die when even in this very thread you said that JOB's family didn't die/killed see how you got busted in a lie......and once you even claim that Jesus was crucified but didn't die....do you even have the truth in you? ..

Both the job and Jesus thing I was referring to the second death. When talking to a Christian about sin and death, that is what they are referring to. We just weren't on the same page and you were misunderstanding of which i was referring to.

Again, death is the only reward for sin. Therefore when speaking of death when conversing about things in the bible the conversation is usually referring to the second death. Therefore is why i said that neither Jesus or Job's family died. They will be there alive in greeting us to heaven.

well it is because of your second death belief why Jesus won't be in Heaven greeting anyone...so allow me to explain why your belief is why the rapture will be used to get rid of Christianity ....

if Jesus died once (first death) on the cross and was ressurected back into his physical body then his physical body would have to die again (second death) in order to get into Heaven to sit on the right hands side of God ....does the bible say that Jesus died a second death? ....

if the bible tells of no second death to Jesus then that makes Jesus either one of two things ....Jesus was actually Satan disguised as being The Messiah and faking death on the cross to take believers away from God and of course Satan as Jesus won't be in Heaven or Jesus was the false prophet that the bible warned against and is now being tortured in Hell

so now since you have a second death belief...did Jesus die a second death to enter Heaven? ...

Second death is spiritually dying and not receiving the gift of heaven. It's not an accumulated amounts of death on the earth. That's what the second death term is referring to, spiritual death. Again not an accumulated amounts of death on earth.

No Jesus didn't die a second time.

Acts 1:9-11

9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:52

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Notice and we shall be changed. So we will have our bodies in heaven. Just may not look the same as before. And also notice incorruptible. This would say our bodies won't be decayed or anything of such with any form of blemish.
