Topic: Will The Rapture rid the Earth of Christianity

Both the job and Jesus thing I was referring to the second death. When talking to a Christian about sin and death, that is what they are referring to. We just weren't on the same page and you were misunderstanding of which i was referring to.

Again, death is the only reward for sin. Therefore when speaking of death when conversing about things in the bible the conversation is usually referring to the second death. Therefore is why i said that neither Jesus or Job's family died. They will be there alive in greeting us to heaven.

well it is because of your second death belief why Jesus won't be in Heaven greeting anyone...so allow me to explain why your belief is why the rapture will be used to get rid of Christianity ....

if Jesus died once (first death) on the cross and was ressurected back into his physical body then his physical body would have to die again (second death) in order to get into Heaven to sit on the right hands side of God ....does the bible say that Jesus died a second death? ....

if the bible tells of no second death to Jesus then that makes Jesus either one of two things ....Jesus was actually Satan disguised as being The Messiah and faking death on the cross to take believers away from God and of course Satan as Jesus won't be in Heaven or Jesus was the false prophet that the bible warned against and is now being tortured in Hell

so now since you have a second death belief...did Jesus die a second death to enter Heaven? ...

Second death is spiritually dying and not receiving the gift of heaven. It's not an accumulated amounts of death on the earth. That's what the second death term is referring to, spiritual death. Again not an accumulated amounts of death on earth.

the question wasn't what second death is...I asked you after the resurrection did Jesus have to die again (second death) to get into Heaven? ...that only requires a yes or no answer

No Jesus didn't die a second time.

Acts 1:9-11

9And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

so wouldn't that mean that Jesus is in Heaven still in his physical body?

Obviously we will.

1 Corinthians 15:52

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Notice and we shall be changed. So we will have our bodies in heaven. Just may not look the same as before. And also notice incorruptible. This would say our bodies won't be decayed or anything of such with any form of blemish.

so that would mean that when Jesus was raised from the dead his body had changed and he were no longer human

Your statement makes no sense. What is human Funches? What would have justified or pronounced Jesus wasn't "human"?

But if you want a direct response to what you said, here it is.

Psalm 82:6

6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Jesus said that to those that haven't died yet and were still human...Jesus had died and was resurrected and you said that is when the body will change....so again wouldn't that mean that Jesus was not longer a human after his resurrection?

What Justifies a human though? What exactly is a human? This body is the temple of God which the holy spirit dwelleth inside of us. So what precisely defines a "human"?

Well i couldn't very well answer a question of which there are many variations. That is why i asked the questions i asked to get a more defined question to be able to respond to the exact question you were asking and not possibly have mistaken anything of which you were asking. So please answer my questions and I will respond to your questions after when i know more of exactly what you're asking.

sure no problem...according to the christian religion no human can enter into Heaven without first being changed to something that is not human ...so here's the question again

THE QUESTION:
after the resurrection did the physical body of Jesus changed that he was no longer human and could get into Heaven?

Says we shall be changed, but does NOT say our physical bodies will change in exacts. When you change your mind on something, does your mind morph into something else?

Already said yes to that. And gave a verse where it shows that we will have a new form... new body.

Yes he did. And no the human body as of now is very corruptible. And it will be made incorruptible when we are resurrected.

if u only view Jesus as a man than u will never understand God. Jesus Christ is the word made flesh. check the meaning of the name Emanuel and you might get a better understanding of Jesus. i worship Jesus because i know who he is.

wow you worship a Man instead of God?...sounds like blasphemy ...but anyway if the Virgin Mary payed any attention to the name Emmanuel perhaps she would have named her son that

He was always in an incorruptible body. Reason we will be resurrected is because of and through Jesus Christ. That is why we'll be resurrected with an incorruptible body, because of Jesus. The temple only gets corrupted because of how we treat it and through our actions in life. That is why Jesus' body never was corrupted for he was perfect. And we are made perfect through Jesus eg., we will be resurrected with an incorruptible body.

funches, i hope you are having this discussion because you sincerely want to understand God and not just to discredit him or pick apart christianiy. if so then i am sorry i even posted anything and i will sign off from writing anything else. it is not blasphemy to worship Jesus because like i said, i know who he is. the people called Jesus a blasphemer too because he made himself one with God, the one who died for your sins funches. this shouldnt be a debate because its not about who's right or wrong, or who knows more. its about understanding and coming to the knowlege of the truth. i dont claim to know everything but the one thing i am sure of is that Jesus is lord and saviour and that there is no other way but him. please understand that i am a born again believer and i have experience first hand the amazing and overwhelming presence of God through the infilling of the holy ghost. it is an undeniable feeling that can only be fully understood by experience. i dont know why God is revealed to me and not you, but i know that it is not his will for anyone to be lost. please stop debating a try to seriously open your heart to know God. understand that i humbly write this with the utmost sincerity and not with pride in what i know to be true.
