funches, i hope you are having this discussion because you sincerely want to understand God and not just to discredit him or pick apart christianiy. if so then i am sorry i even posted anything and i will sign off from writing anything else. it is not blasphemy to worship Jesus because like i said, i know who he is. the people called Jesus a blasphemer too because he made himself one with God, the one who died for your sins funches. this shouldnt be a debate because its not about who's right or wrong, or who knows more. its about understanding and coming to the knowlege of the truth. i dont claim to know everything but the one thing i am sure of is that Jesus is lord and saviour and that there is no other way but him. please understand that i am a born again believer and i have experience first hand the amazing and overwhelming presence of God through the infilling of the holy ghost. it is an undeniable feeling that can only be fully understood by experience. i dont know why God is revealed to me and not you, but i know that it is not his will for anyone to be lost. please stop debating a try to seriously open your heart to know God. understand that i humbly write this with the utmost sincerity and not with pride in what i know to be true.

AMEN!!! very beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

He was always in an incorruptible body.

an incorrupible body mean that Jesus body would not decay or need to be replenish with food and drink ....so if Jesus had the need to eat and drink then he was not always in an incorruptible body and you are giving false testimony

Reason we will be resurrected is because of and through Jesus Christ. That is why we'll be resurrected with an incorruptible body, because of Jesus. The temple only gets corrupted because of how we treat it and through our actions in life. That is why Jesus' body never was corrupted for he was perfect. And we are made perfect through Jesus eg., we will be resurrected with an incorruptible body.

iccorruptible body refers to the spiritual body not the physcial body because an incorruptible physical body was not meant to be in Heaven ...as you can read in the passage below

CORINTHIANS 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

this means that if Jesus was resurrected as flesh and blood even in an incorruptible body he still can not inherit the kingdom of God .....he must die a (second death)to rid himself of flesh and blood and become spirit .....

now pull the passage that even come close to state that the incorruptible body means the flesh and blood physical body because I already prove that flesh and blood bodies can not inherit the kingdom of Heaven only the spirit/soul is resurrected

incorruptible has nothing to do with food or water lol. Incorruptible as in not being corrupted by sin. Sin is a disease if you may. It decays us as we do them. It destroys the temple of God. It corrupts it.

Think of the word funches. If a company does evil actions and cheats people out of money and or any other sinful action it is CORRUPTED. If someone does evil actions and sins it is CORRUPTED.

Guess what!

An angel came to me in my sleep last night and told me that god does not exist!

Let's end this discussion and go play some ball, boys...

I do not personally know. That is irrelevant and or is not important to the salvation of souls to know of such information.

well it's revelant because you asked to define what a human is...you claim that you do not know personally if the ressurected will need to eat food and take drink ...so do you personally know if humans need to eat food and take of drink?

Yes we need food and drink now. But Jesus says he will change us. And does not go into detail bout how we will be change and or what will be changed about us. I do not believe we'll need food or water, but nevertheless it says nothing on it in the word of God. It's not really important enough to put much energy into anyways. Even if I know if we would or not after we're resurrected, that will not give me salvation therefore it is not important to know. We'll just find out if and when we get there.

well I guess the simpliest thing to ask is will humans of flesh and bones be in Heaven or will those that enter Heaven be "changed" into something other than Human?

===========================================
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
=============================================

When we are born we are corruptible. Through Jesus Christ we are incorruptible and will live for eternity. Any more then that is irrelevant and isn't important to know. Wouldn't matter if we were "humans" in heaven or "giraffes" in heaven, it's pointless to ponder on such things.

Cowboy...the question is not pointless since you were the one that ask to define what a human is....so let's see if those in Heaven will still be what constitute as being a human

"The Question"
will those in Heaven be a human of flesh and bones or will those in Heaven be changed into something other than human and what will they be changed into?

some good quotes for you guys...

"Anyone who becomes seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that there is a spirit manifest in the laws of the universe. A spirit vastly superior to that of man." -Albert Einstein

and

"All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force. We must assume behind this force is the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." -Max Planck -The Father of Quantum Physics 1858-1947

Enjoy!!

"The ONLY way our father kills anyone is at judgement, and that death is from not having received the gift of eternal life. "

This is incorrect. Nobody dies. Good Christians go to heaven, bad people and good non-Christians go to hell.

An eternal pain and torture in hellfire is not exactly "death". It is life, not a good one, but only sentient people can experience pain, and apparently there is a lot of it in hell, from what I hear.

So everyone recieves the gift of eternal life. Some get a good gift of eternal good life, some get a gift they want to throw out, the gift of eternal horrible life.

I really don't know where you are coming from with this "death of a soul" stuff, brother.

Yes, agreed. That spirit lives on that newly discovered planet. He has many other similar spirits, housed in bodies; one spirit, one body, one vote each.

A spirit is not able to exist without a body it uses for a house.

Assume... assume... it is not knowledge. It is the opinion of one private guy. Yes, he was smart, but so was Jesus warn't he.

You religionnaires... you got so used to quoting authority and believing it due to your ignorance in logical matters, that you think a fallacy that appeals to authority is automatically accepted by all.

Well, it is not.

You talk to a jesus-follower... you quote jesus.

You talk to an atheist... you quote a scientist.

I dare you to take a serious quote from an atheist that tells the world there is a god.

-------

The point is that the existence of God cannot be disproven, and the non-existence of God cannot be disproven by scientific means. By quoting very famous scientists for their beliefs, you essentially quote two humans who believe in god. The fact these humans were extremely, but extremely smart, has nothing to do with the truth value of their statements about the existence of God. They were smart, yes, but ab ovo smarts can't prove or disprove neither the existence nor the non-existence of god.

So... yes. These guys said what they said. Pope Augustine the XIV said as a statement of infallibility, that "those who believe in the Antipodes are heretical and will burn in hell for ever, for they get excommunicated instantly." The Antipodes lived in what we call "Australia" now. Completely sacreligious. The Church and religion in its best role does not talk about facts, hard scientific facts, it talks about moral guidance and gives us guidance in ethical and religious issues. Apparently a beliefe that people live in Australia is a morally incompatible belief with God's command for man.

So, in light of the above, who looks stupid? I, for not believing a scientist when he makes a statement of personal belief, or you, when you say authority derives from god, and the power of the Pope to issue statements ex cathedra must be accepted without reservations, and the pope says people don't exist on Australia?

Einstein also stated that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light....which means that light is faster than spirit

if the mind is the matrix of all matter....that would then make the mind "the force" ...and make the mind God

. i dont claim to know everything but the one thing i am sure of is that Jesus is lord and saviour and that there is no other way but him.

the bible has many stories of people placing something before God and God then destroying them....placing Jesus with more authority before God as the only way to God points to why God will use the rapture to get rid of Christianity....for God is a jealous God
