Yeah it wasnt a bad movie. Had all the action you would expect from Transformers. Makes me wonder if this is the last one being a robot is now dead.

My understanding is that it's the last one Bay will do. It's up in the air as to whether someone will try and milk it, but Bay has said he won't do anymore.

Was there any hint of Unicron in it or possibly in the future?
This may have been a great movie and Michael Bay does these types well that cater to the human element, but to be able to expand on the greatest point in most of the anime series, a director with much more vision is needed. |

A lot of action/shooting.....
 The plot, a slight twist, but mainly dull...  No connection with characters.

As long as not having much of a plot doesn't bother you, it's fun to watch. I didn't bother with 3D, though, as I just don't think 3D movies are worth the extra money and headache.

Bay made up for the second film (a disaster) with Dark of the Moon. Yeah, the story isn't the best. But this IS a Michael Bay film. Dude is known more blowing **** up and giving you action galore. You know what you are getting with Bay. Yes, the film does stretch things, but the last 45 minutes in Chicago is what you paid to see. And it delivers.
Bay is done with these films. He made it clear he was and if there is going to be a fourth one he would not do it. In fact, he is doing a low budget film (which is rare for him) because he is just worn out from over the last five years doing nothing but the Transformers films. Personally, I hope this third film is the end of it, but I know it won't be. These movies make money, and that is all that matters. And yes. The whole 3D thing has worn thin. 2D version of the film was awesome to see on the big screen. |

My daughter and I went to see this and thought it was really good. I got a kick out of all the Star Trek references during it because of a certain person doing a voice.
