I am not attracted to Asian women. My preference is Caucasian. However there is an Asian woman who has been pursuing me for sometime now. Do you think that I will one day fall in love with her or should I just tell her that it's not pursuing?

Aren't you special :-)
Cut her loose, maybe she can
find a good man.

Didn't realise i was still logged on. lol. Anyway, to answer your question, she might if she follows you around long enough. I wasn't attracted to the guy i met in high school, at age 14, then i finally caved in. We were actually quite a great match, and liked many of the same stuff. Plus we had a similar sense of humor. I could talk to him about ANYTHING. We were so childish. lol. People who stalk you, can eventually get into your heart and mind. Even if you don't want them to.

Thanks for your thoughts. I often wonder if you can actually grow to like people whom you did not initially feel the attraction. I have a friend who did not like this guy who acts like a pimp. He was working hard at capturing her heart. She assured me that nothing will ever happen between them...guess what? The last time I checked her FB, pics of them making out were plastering all over her wall. So I am wondering if we can actually fall in love with someone if we give the person a chance to grow on us...But then again, am I living on fantasy land by saying this?

was that Stockholm Syndrome shy_emo_chick?

The answer lies in whether she is attractive to you, seemingly the answer is no.

Out of interest what other qualities does she have other than her race, is she kind, loving, amourous? I'm willing to bet that you would be a lot happier with a woman with those traits than you would with a woman who didn't have them, asian or caucasian, blonde or brunette, skinny or cuddly.

I don't know what Stockholm Syndrome is. Never heard of it, to be fair. However, i did find out he had two mental illnesses, ten years later.

Why judge her by being Asian? I would think you would rather judge her by her personality or how you guys re-acted to each other? I guess people get set in their ways and become head strong and they could end up missing that right person.
Maybe she just likes you because she can relate to you? Why is it if you can be friends with a man they think they can have you? OH wait I know...EVERYONE WANTS YOU AND THEY HAVE TO BE WHITE?

If you're not attracted, you're not attracted.

Why prolong the drama?

Unless it makes you feel special.

there is a spanish saying that goes: costumbre es mas grande que amor. translated to english it roughly means to be accustomed (to someone or something) is greater than love. in other words, if you hang out with this girl long enough, she could become a habit

Every woman's dream. love

Maybe I can find a guy who will tolerate me long enough to come to kind of like me.

you like what you like.
the end.
why try to make it work.
it seems as if you get 'accustomed' to someone you're just settling.

Right on. Was about to point that out, until you did. Sometimes i think people already decide who they'll end up with, before seeing it for what it really is. This is a bad way though. You can't predict who you end up falling in love with. Sure you have preferences, but like someone else has mentioned, that may stop you from finding that real special one. That special one who you choose to over-look, will find a much more compatible man. You may be left with nothing after that. Don't judge a book by the cover, so to speak.

You might be able to grow to "like" someone, but the chemistry is either there or it isn't.

I am not attracted to cats, my preference is dogs.
However there is a cat that hangs around my door,,who is always showing me it likes me...wanting to give me affections and so I feed it some milk,,,we exchange compassions,,,,BUT,, I could only ever LIKE the cat,,,,because,,,,THATS BUILT IN MY MIND...TO BE...
So WHY take it in when I KNOW,,I'll never be able to feel its desires inside to satisfy its needs of my attentions to do?
I like dogs,,,,,and cats are just OK,,,,,,,OK? bigsmile

I love my cats unconditionally.

They are only here for the food and shelter.

This goes a long way with me. You honestly like what you like...that won't really change.

If you're not into her, don't lead her on. It makes more sense to find someone you're actually attracted to.

If you don’t like her, why haven’t already told her that it’s “not worth pursuing”?

That way she can decide whether or not she should stick around long enough for you to settle for her.

Seriously, who wouldn’t rather be someone’s back-up plan? slaphead
